I have to be honest. I’ve been here a couple of times recently after not eating at Red Lobster for probably 20 years. The last couple of times I’ve been it’s been fresh and hot and come out exactly as ordered. The servers have been friendly. The food comes out fast when I’m there. Lunch and dinner lately. It’s just been way better than I remembered. They’re doing a solid job turning this place around it seems. My parents came to lunch one week with me and both were shocked at how it was. Mom's choice on Mother's Day weekend. Used to go to the west Ashley location all the time but since they recently closed i had to give this location a try. They don't take reservations but you can get priority seating thru Open Table. I requested a table for 5pm, arrived around 445 and was seated prior to 5pm. Service was a bit slow which can be expected since the place was packed so I didn't hold that against them. The food was delicious and my mom enjoyed herself which is all that mattered.
I had the grilled fish. It was about $21 but was very thin. It was ok. The lobster pizza was really good. Cheddar biscuits are the best. I wasn't a big fan of the clam chowder but several at the table said it was good. Mine seemed to have olive oil on tip. Anyways our service was really good. It is pricey but that's how it is now days.
The food was ok. We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and the crab fest for entree. The garlic crabs my husband had were good but those honey sriracha were a bit too hot for me. They definitely bring the heat if you like the sweet/ heat combo. 👍🏾 oh the watermelon martini 🍸 was good.
I always find the food at Red Lobster good. The service was great. I didn’t like the drink, though. It was watered down. I should have just had ice tea. Over all it was good.
This is the only Red Lobster in the area. I’ve been here many times. Every time I have a good meal. Service is good. The only downfall I have is they are constantly changing their menu and prices. I know this is a corporate thing and not this specific restaurant location. I went here today. The server was nice and 2 managers checked on us. Good portion sizes. Ended up taking home left overs.
We stopped in for the "Ultimate Shrimp Feast." They seated us almost immediately. Service was really slow. It seemed maybe that our waiter was stretched too thin, so he would bring several people's items out at a time to avoid multiple trips. But by that time, sometimes our shrimp was a little on the "cool" side. We only had hot shrimp a couple of times.
Other than the slow service and some not-so-hot shrimp, the meal was delicious, and a bargain at $20.
Our drinks were very good, biscuits hot and fresh the main course took a lil while to come out waitress was super nice the decore is outdated and it could use a deep cleaning around the booth area. We were seated soon as we came in, it really was empty for a weekend shocked and the endless shrimp is a good menu item he likes but they come out so slow to the table.
We got there late, because everywhere we went had a long wait time. But the Red show out my little lobster tail was fabulous. That's why I show pictures of before and afterwards. The waitress was on point. She was quick and efficient. I didn't need those other places tonight. Maybe I will go to their tomorrow 🙂
While the service was good at first, not once did they refill a water glass. The food was average, but the biscuits were great.
