SO FREAKIN GOOD. Such an underrated place; the food is excellent for the price especially, and the portions are generous. I couldn’t finish my Cuban sandwich. Will absolutely come back and try more delicious things
Had the cuban roast pork bowl (perfectly done), and the wife had the palomilla bowl, also perfect. All three sauces he recommended (white cilantro, mustard, and jalapeño) were very, very good. My favorite was the mustard, which has an almost curry-like hint to it. The wife’s favorite, though it was close with the mustard, was the cilantro sauce. Try them all!
Love, LOVE love this place! We were traveling from Greenville (where the original restaurant is) and saw Tropical Grille in Charleston and just had to stop. The same great food and fantastic taste! So glad to visit this newest location and experience the same food!!!
I was traveling from Miami so unfamiliar with the restaurants in the area. We dropped in and immediately felt comfortable and at home. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and professional.
I asked for a special meal not on the menu. They were patient and happy to help me. The food is prepared in front of you. The food is fresh and very tasty. Prices in my opinion very reasonable. The portion sizes were generous. My family and I loved it. The place is very clean. I will definitely return when I am back in Charleston in January.
You will definitely love this place. It was my first time, but I will be back. We had the South of the Boarder, with a side of sweet grilled shrimp. Their sauces are delicious. The customer service was excellent as well. I enjoyed speaking with Daniel (the cook). He stated, that I would be back and he was correct. Great atmosphere!!!
Quaint lovely place to dine. Excellent food. Moderate prices. Great service. We thoroughly enjoyed eating here
