Was there the first time this weekend, and the food was incredible. It's a small, unassuming place with a friendly staff. The samosas were perfect, the garlic naan some of the best I've had, and my paneer tikka masala were the best Indian food I've had in a long time. I will be back.
I definitely prefer when a place is Vegetarian, but having said that it does not mean I will not eat at restaurants that serve non-veg. We discovered this place today since we could not wait for over one hour at another popular place in Metro Detroit area.
So when we talk about location this place is located centrally in Novi with ample parking. It definitely did not have the long waiting time, although the restaurant was fully occupied when we party of 6 reached there. Inside is spacious and does not feel claustrophobic.
Secondly, service. The person taking the order was extremely busy, but had smile on his face and was helping everyone at the back end also when needed. It is not self serve place as of now, servers call the numbers and bring your order at your table. Everyone is very cheerful and friendly. The wait time after order was not too much. We probably waited 5-10 minutes when order started coming. Kitchen is open concept so you can see cooks.
Third and foremost, food is very good! We ordered Dahi Puri, Pav Bhaji, Poori Aloo, Chana Bhatura, Shahi Paneer. Everything was very good. My favorite was Pav Bhaji! Eating every bite of Pao Bhaji, I had to say how delicious that was! This was the best Pao Bhaji I ever had.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves eating India street food. Keep it up!
I love the restaurant for its South Indian Dishes. They have an authentic taste.
I did not wanted to write this, but we found a piece of plastic(as if someone tore a corner of an oil packet with their teeth and spit the piece in the dish) in one our dishes we took as a carry out. I am not going to bring the ratings down because I like the authentic South Indian taste. However, I request the owners to bring the quality of the food and packing up again. Plastic piece is a strict no no when I pay $10 - $12/dish. Thanks.

A good south indian vegetarian Cuisine..
Loved the food, after once the dine in has opened...
Same taste and neatness Everytime...
I’ve always wanted to try a good Indian restaurant and I just think I found my new favorite restaurant. The food here was delicious. In fact, the lady at the counter helped me select some dishes that I enjoyed to the core.
The most authentic South Indian (tamil) style food in SE Michigan
A friend had recommended to visit it. I found the food well balanced , the sambhar was really fresh , and they all ‘exotic’ South Indian delicacies which other restaurants don’t offer .
Must try the bissibele bath( a sambhar rice mix with spices ). It’s like a comfort food of the south , one of my favs.
To end with the authentically served filter coffee. Make sure to drink with the saucer the Steel cup can be hot,
Fantastic food with a great variety of flavors! I've enjoyed everything that I've tried here, but the samosas with tamarind sauce are a favorite. I sincerely appreciate the clear marking of vegan dishes- this is super helpful! Great spot for lunch, thanks again!
Nice vegetarian Indian food . Chole bhature and paav bhaji was on point. Also , friendly staff. What really stood out for me was their menu options. They have a some really good variety , especially if you are looking for South Indian options. My friend had kothu parotha and was impressed. Will definitely have to try other things in the menu as well.
Delicious food, friendly people and excellent service. Good variety of menu items. Tried Samosa, Biryani, chaat items and platter, everything was done perfect. Great vegetarian restaurant in the area
