One of the best “go-to” lunch/dinner spots in town. Their Halal menu is on point- you can’t go wrong with one of their bowl with pita on the side or in the dish! They also happen to have one of the best hamburgers in town. Value wise, it is the best (in my opinion). In a world where things are as expensive as ever and “eating out” is getting harder & harder to justify, European Republic in Oceanside does their best to counter with good food , at good prices. Oh did I mention that the owner/ manager will always have you walking away in a better mood than when you came in?! Highly recommended lunch/dinner in Oceanside!!
Have tried their food at other locations and the price point is fair and not overly priced. Best wraps, fries and fried chicken. This location had additional Halal dishes that I haven't tried before, but will try them on the next visit. Be sure to pick up your choice of sauces. The jalapeno and garlic sauce are fantastic!
We do weekly take out at European Republic. Easy and delicious! The chicken gyros, falafel, and french fries are excellent... so tasty. My husband loves the chicken steak sandwich, my daughter loves the wraps, and I know lots of people who swear by their chicken and rice platter.... but I can't pull myself away from the gyros!
Great discovery today, I enjoy places like these from time to time. I can also have a diverse Palate , Fried chicken , fries, burgers, gyros etc. Ordered Mixed fried chicken and Fries, I've been to plenty of places like these but their Fries stand out. Thick and crispy , not overcooked. Well done. Chicken was very tasty great crunch. They serve a wide variety of free and unique sauces with your order Roasted garlic , balsamic ketchup, homemade hot sauce , European ketchup and a dozen more. The guy at the counter was very humble, spoke to me as if I were one of the regulars of this place. A revisit is certain for the future . High Recommendations here.
The food here is really great, definitely try the fried chicken. Lots of delicious sauces to go with it.
Delicious Belgium friesand sauces. Guy behind the counter is super friendly. Has a wide array of burgers, gyros and fried chicken. Also has some tasty exotic drinks!
The food was fantastic! I’m a really picky eater, so I can’t give a review of a lot of the items on their menu, but their fried chicken, fries, and halal chicken over rice are all DELICIOUS.
The prices are also very reasonable, which is very nice as they are located in a convenient location for me to visit often.
What first drew me in was their big smiling french fries man decorating their building, but what keeps me coming back is the tasty food and great price!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Food is made fresh to order so it never has that stale dry taste some other fried food gets when it sits for a while. They also sell gyros and stuff
Food is fresh and delicious! Got the chicken over rice combo and steak sandwich! The sauce choices are amazing, I tried the European ketchup and garlic sauce and it was sooooo good!!! Service was great! Cashier made suggestions and was VERY VERY nice! Would definitely recommend! I will be back soon!
