Surely a spot worth stopping over, the food is good and well prepared, the cost is convenient and it is consistently well organized in here. Highly recommended.

Umi is a small Japanese restaurant next to the Regal Theater in Oceanside. It serves a wide range of sushi rolls/hand rolls and other Japanese food at reasonable prices. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl which included grilled vegetables which was very tasty.
I stumbled upon this little eatery while out walking. Just had an early lunch. I had the chicken yakisoba. This the best yakisoba I have had since living in Japan about 30 years ago! Perfectly seasoned, and the chicken was grilled to perfection and tender with a nice amount of teriyaki sauce over it. I wish I lived here, it would be my favorite spot. A great menu with lots of variety, they also have some teriyaki dishes and a lot of sushi dishes as well. The staff is very friendly and not more than 5 or 6 minute wait for the food. Everything is cooked to order.
One of my preferred places to eat. good location, well organised, and very good service. I highly recommend them!
We ordered the special rolls which came with a soup or salad , very affordable and delicious.
Great place to eat during covid and is so close to the beach. They have a little patio to sit, eat, and people watch. The owner is very nice and the food was delicious! We will definitely come back.
