First visit since COVID. Noticeable changes, less food options than before. Came in during weekday lunch: $11.99/adult, 0.65*age for children. If you pay by credit card, there is an additional overall 3.5% convenient fee (after tax) added to the bill at the end. There is no Hibachi, and only 3-4 kind sushi roll available (no real fish); you would be disappointed with "Hibachi and sushi buffet" expectation. If you are only interested in typical American Chinese restaurant food, they are OK. Closed on Monday.
My wife and I are new to the area and we have a few Asian Buffet's down in Georgia, but, this one has to be the best. The food is spectacular, the staff is so kind, and the place is very clean. Was every single food option perfect? No, but there's a hundred others things there if you don't like something. Personally, everything I had was very good. I will be returning here for lunch regularly.
I've been looking for a good place to get Asian cuisine in the area and haven't really found anything I liked until I came here. The food was good and it was hot. The service was good and timely with many smiling faces. Atmosphere is the typical buffet atmosphere but not bad at all. I'll definitely be coming back!
After a long day of playing with the family at High Caliber, we were hungry & ready to eat. It was close to closing time & the staff sat our party of 6, which was very nice of them. The buffet was delicious. The staff was even nice enough to cook up a couple of our favorite items that were running low on the buffet. Our waitress was on top of her game as well, making sure our needs were met. Big thanks to them for making us all happy!
The food is generally excellent every time I've gone. Sometimes they seem a bit understaffed, and you may wait longer than expected for drink refills, but usually happens only at busy times. Nice dessert bar, adequate sushi bar, but no Mongolian style BBQ bar like some other Chinese buffets in Lansing.
went here on thanksgiving with friends. it was clean, constantly stocked-- dishes and food. I never saw an empty pan. And they had traditional thanksgiving foods along with the usual delicious food. I had stuffing and i had egg rolls, best dinner ever.
The service is great and the food is about what you expect from an Asian buffet. Sometimes the thing you want is all gone, sometimes it’s the leftovers, sometimes it’s right out of the kitchen. In terms of the Lansing area this is the best tasting food of all the buffets.
Update: My wife believes this is the tastiest of all Asian restaurants in the area, and we have tried all of them. The wings are surprisingly good for an Asian buffet
Value is really good.
Another great experience here. There is plenty of very good food. A lot of people complain about the wait staff, but I had no issues with them
This place is consistently delicious. Many vegetarian options. I love that they serve avocado sushi and it's clear that whoever makes it did not cross contaminate it with the fish sushi. I appreciate that. The hostess and servers are quick and concise, but polite. They serve alcohol now which is nice, but my chardonnay was oddly sweet. Took one star off for there being a few items that were unavailable and a few items not labeled. The atmosphere is ok, but some of the clientele made me lose my appetite (not the restaurant's fault.) If people would shower more often and not blow their noses at the table, that would be great.
The Asian Buffet is the best Asian buffet in the Okemos area. If you’ve found a better one, then please let me know! Winners include the coconut chicken and crab. The salad bar could use some help.
