Went to this place based on recommendations from office colleagues.
Had a good experience , we ordered egg fried rice ($12) , egg or veg fried rice both were same priced, chili chicken ($12) and goat biriyani ($15) .
We wanted everything as spicy , fried rice was flavorful, the heat was mainly due to black peppers , goat biriyani was also decent, it came with an egg too 🙂Enough quantity , we had to box some which we could not finish.
Feels like a diner but the food is good. Pakora and samosas stood out - eggplant dishes were great. Service was OK - they weren’t clear on vegan.
We are big fans of Indian food. Persis offers an incredible assortment of Indian dishes. Not just the "usual" stuff but things I, as an American, have never seen or tasted. What a wonderful adventure and place to bring a group for bite sharing! Fantastic staff. Beautiful environment. Generous portions.
Most flavorful Indian restaurant in the GR-Lansing area. Biryani is top class, fried rice is amazing, pongal is finger licking good. Second time to this place even though an hour away from Grand rapids. Will comeback again for sure.
My safest and tastiest option in town for dine in , take out and for party orders. One of our favorite restaurants we opt alwayss !!
Hands down the best local Indian food. We go here almost once a week, it is my favorite! Even my kids beg for it. Our go-to dishes are butter chicken (pictured on left) and chicken tikka masala (pictured on right) with garlic naan bread. We have relatives from out of town who demand we order from here whenever they visit. You will not regret trying it.
Consistently good food. Big portions for the price. Lots of vegetarian options.

We had a fantastic meal today, we were 4 friends. The Mirchi bajji, appolo fish, and chicken 65 appetizers were all delicious, with Mirchi bajji being my favorite. For the main course, both the chicken and goat biryani were excellent. Great service and ambiance, highly recommend!
We don't get over her as often as I'd like, but every time I do I remember this is my favorite Malai Kofta and mango lassi in town. Indian restaurants are generally good for vegetarian options, but this one is EXCELLENT, with extensive selections.
