This is as good a place as any to eat Mexican food in Western Oklahoma! IT IS GOOD!! I had No. 23 - Beef Tamiquena (cubed beef with sautéed onions, bell peppers and tomatoes, with rice and beans) ($8.95) They brought out lots of tortillas. They served queso and salsa with the chips. The salsa actually had something in it! Very good salsa! Food was hot and fast and lots of it. Sweet tea was good too. Very clean. Very curteous. Extensive menu choices. The only problem is, it's extremely busy (if that's a problem!). Whoever is cooking at this place knows what they're doing. I had a great experience.
Just ordered to go. I'm not worried about my order because they always get it right and it's always great. People want good food in a small town but the only complaints I see on here are from residents of Watonga. I'm glad they are here. I'll add they are always friendly and if we eat inside the owner or manager always checks on us. Good job!
This little jewel was a nice surprise . Great little hometown business that puts out a great meal, full portions for a great price. Not surprising that they were busy and we had to wait awhile but it was worth it. Next time you pass through Watonga, give them a try!
Good food. Great staff. Nice atmosphere. Very busy on Friday nights. Really like the enchiladas and quesadillas. And the fajitas are amazing. Sometimes things are a little slow all around, but to me it is worth the wait!
We order to go from here about once a month the enchiladas and tostadas are wonderful. It takes about twenty minutes to get ready but is always waiting for me when I walk in the door. The people working here act like they love their jobs without the attitudes that are so common in places these days. I am not a fan of their salsa hence the 4 star rating but that is no reason not to try their great food and enjoy their wonderful service
Great service and atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and quick. The only downside was the taco tasted like just ground beef. It had no taco seasoning or taste so it wasn't good. The Tamale and cheese enchilada was great though.
I loved my Durango tacos. The flour tortillas are red because they're dipped in red chili sauce before frying. They're attractive and delicious. I rated 4 instead of 5 because my husband wasnt thrilled with the carne asada tacos--they should have served with guacamole. Great service. Nice place!
Took the family to Roman Nose just to find the food places were closed down, despite the website stating it was open. Which turned out to be good because we found El Rancho Grande! It was so dang tasty! Some of the best food I've ever had!
This place has good food and good service...I love eating here...they have a fairly decent menu too
Very good food, friendly staff. Recommend you go here.
