Thank you to Jeremy for feeding 3 hungry pinups!! We loved it and will be back!!
I'm surprised this place isn't busier on a Saturday afternoon with $5 flights. The Italian grilled cheese in the picture hit the spot, and the tater tots were better than hoped for. I highly recommend the Hawaiian Porter, the B(positive) Orange 88 Kager, and the Tropic Thunder IPA.
Edit: the music selection has been epic

The beers at this spot are pretty solid- the flavored few weren’t spectacular but the base beers were awesome. I tried the rice lager to start and knew I needed a full pint of it, amazingly crisp. The tots are the real star of the show, though. The bartender had agreed that the beauty of tots is in the crunch and said that those without seasoning were a bit sad. The peppery addition at this spot gave a fun flavor kick if they were eaten dry. The sauces were all homemade and all so good though so why wouldn’t you dip it?!? There was an aioli, honey mustard, and ranch with each of them owning their killer flavors. I’d be curious to see how great the rest of the menu is!
Incredible lunch with fabulous service. So many fun options to choose from for food and beer. I couldn't decide, so I went with two grilled cheese sandwiches...both amazing. Definitely a place worth checking out!
Very good food and a wonderful staff made for a unique and delicious dining experience. The peanut butter and jelly bacon butter burger was the best I've had in town and with a side of tots you can't go wrong.
Great brewery! Had a neighborhood association Christmas party here and the drinks/appetizers were great. Try the pot stickers!
Yummy beers and and normal happy hour times. Got the Hawaiian porter and the blood orange lager. So tasty!
Food was good, if a little smaller than expected. I enjoyed my beer flight, and service was great. Will likely return.
Let's just start with the picture I saw upon entry into this establishment, see attached. An instant laugh as I so happen to work for a church! This is a fabulous little taproom at midtown crossing, on Farnam street. This would be my first visit and I can assure you, will not be my last. The both of us sampled 2 flights with a total of 10 of 13 beers offered. The choices are great. We found they all tasted as described. We also tried the fried pot stickers and the cheese curd. Both were delicious. Above all else, and what I find appealing most is the customer service. Ed was our wait staff and wow, what a great display of caring for your customer. The space itself was clean and organized, not too cramped at all. Bathroom was clean. This is definitely recommended!
Pretty solid restaurant. Been a few times now, food has always been pretty consistently good. The burger is good, but not amazing. Doesn't really stand out from other burgers you can get in town. They have a good Reuben; there are better out there, but theirs has always been quality anytime I've gotten it. The melts are something a little different and I've enjoyed all that I've ordered. The red pepper bisque is excellent and I always make sure to order it when I go. The red pepper bisque alone is worth going for. They have a solid selection of beers from their brewery on tap. Nothing outstanding in my mind, but I've never been disappointed in a beer I've ordered here. I'm never really wowed by the service, but I also don't have any complaints. I just seem to have gotten awkward servers on several different visits.
5168 Taproom has a great selection of brews. I recommend the Stout, Porter, and Green Tea IPA. Or if you're indecisive, just get a flight. You will not regret it.
