My first time going to a shrimp shack and this one did not disappoint. Tues special 30 shrimp, two sides and hush puppies $10.99. I opted to upgrade to a premium side for $2.99 extra and get the fried pickles it was definitely worth it. Large portion of pickles , a mountain of good sized shrimp and two big hush puppies. Everything fresh and is worth waiting the couple minutes it takes! I will try to take a picture next time before I eat it. I had leftovers for a late night snack too which is always a bonus. I'd definitely go back again. Service was also polite , courteous and answered my questions with no issue. Kudos to everyone at this location
The interior dining is small but is now open. Drink refills are Coke and there is a TV in the dining room. The staff was polite, courteous and knew her stuff when comes to the foods and serving size. I got the grilled regular size shrimp dinner. The shrimp was well cooked and has good spices that make it worth every cent. It comes on a bed of rice with two hush puppies and two sides. The shrimp also comes as blackened or deep fried with fries. There is a larger portion as well as a $15.99 30 piece family size. The sides include a choice of apple sauce and grits. I have never complimented anyone on their grits but they were really good! Dip those shrimp in the grits and you've got a great southern special. I will be back. I highly recommend for the shrimp lover inside you.

Good food, friendly staff. Grits were great, green beans had a little too much pepper. Shrimp were good, I'm full. Restaurant was a little dirty inside, but tolerable.
Excellent little seafood place known for their Tuesdays 30 piece shrimp special. I go any day for their grilled, blackened or fried fish dinner for $10. Decent portions, great flavor and great price. Not much seating but the food and price can't be beat!

Giving 4 stars because the people are always friendly and the portion size is good and the cheese grits remind me of grandma! But this last visit disappointed in the fries. Usually do double grits but wanted to try fries and when i opened container didnt see them, lifted shrimp and all i saw was what is in the pic.

I absolutely love this place. Today was the first time my boyfriend and I tried shrimp shack. We are huge seafood lovers and I just want to say that this place was amazing. I’m super impressed considering this is a fast food seafood restaurant. Everything from the food to the customer service was amazing. 10 stars if I could. Only negative feedback I would have is that improving the interior would set this place up to be the best in Jax. Other than that, I will be a regular here from now on. I do want to shout out Alexis for taking our order and being super patient and nice, like I said it was our first time here so it took us a minute to decide what we wanted. She answered any questions we had and had a great attitude. Then Veronica checked up on us while we were eating and made sure everything was good. I was not expecting that considering it’s fast food. Super impressed! Whoever is management at this place is doing an amazing job running this place. Keep up the great work and know that your guys hard work never goes unnoticed 🤩
OMG. The shrimp platter is to die for. So good. Shrimp perfection. Cole slaw was made right. We so enjoyed our meal there.
