I love their food. Their queso is tasty and their serving sizes are huge! It's a good place to go for the price! I only wish they'd put the nutritional information on their menu. Other than that it's awesome!
Great food; needs to change carry out order payment policy. Always enjoy their food, however, when ordering carry out, you have to walk back to the bar area to pick up your food. When the bar is busy, it's a hassle to get the bartender's attention. Someone from the kitchen should bring the food out to the cashier so it's waiting for you when you walk in. Downside to that is everytime I go in there, there's a long line at the cashier's desk of people trying to pay and leave. They need to revamp the situation and figure out a way to reduce long lines and wait times. Other than that, they are friendly and always have a packed house. As far as eating in, the 2 person booths are way to small. Hardly enough room for your plate and glass to sit. I don't know how larger sized folks sit in those booths.

Prices have really gone up over the years. Go to St. John's and Roosevelt location now. Much better. Customer since 1999

Excellent. The line out front says it all! Great food at great prices with excellent service. Is it really "Mexcian"? Lets say it is TexMax or American-Mex but well worth the trip. Served hot and fast with wonderful chips while you wait and the maybe the best drinks in OP.
Great host, he was quick. Delicous food as always and there was a hair in my friends queso dip, but they replaced it immediately!
Prompt seating, great service, good food, and priced right! Could improve on the lighting, it's too dark in there and the credit card machine is sooooooooo slow.

So close to me, and I never have been. The last Mexican restaurant I was in was in Zapata Texas. That was 30 years ago, but it brought so much good memories back to me. Love the food, and the staff, I will definitely be back. Great food, the prices were great and atmosphere so on point. Can't tell you how the amazing food and so much. YUMMY!!!!!!😊😇🤗

Hubby and I ate here Sunday night. Kay was our waiter. He was very patient with me and made several suggestions. My meal was delicious . He checked on us several times. Best waiter, EVER! We will be back!
My husband ordered the 2 taco plate and I ordered beef quesadilla. Both plates were served hot and tasted good. Free chips and salsa are given and we added a queso dip with it, which was very good. The prices are reasonable and they serve coke products! A win-win in my book!
First time at La Nopalera and it was a good experience. Wait staff was friendly and very efficient. I enjoyed the El Pastor tacos. They are still operating at reduced capacity and they had a full house.
Amazing all around. Food,atmosphere and service was perfect! We had a great time together.
