Great experience! The humble exterior of the restaurant could easily fool you. When you walk inside, you are met with an eclectic Italian vibe. You seat yourself at a real kitchen table (not restaurant cookie cutter tables). The staff is fast and efficient, and very friendly--they're glad you're there! On the weekend, make sure you're there before 6. This place gets busy (we now know why)!
The garlic knots ... well, I could live off of them. Entrees are served with the perfect size salad with a generous sprinkling of green and black olives. We enjoyed the shrimp scampi (in a delicate garlic butter sauce) and the spinach ravioli in a rose sauce. We did not have leftovers. This place is a hidden gem--definitely a repeat!
Love this place! Great food for a fair price. Better than homemade, because they even clean the dishes. I would highly recommend Luca's over any chain restaurant.
Great Food. The garlic knots, lasagna, spaghetti and the eggplant parmesan sub were all delicious and the portions were huge. The prices were very good but the service was lacking.
Great Pizza I'm from Brooklyn,NY and there brick oven Pizza is the best in Florida they may even import Brooklyn water

Great food, not so great service. Food was excellent. Best red sauce that I have had in a long time. The waitress was poor, acted like she didn't really know how to be a server.
Their meatballs are awesome. Little garlic twist breads are tasty.. Just need more during meal.
Lucas has the best Italian food in Jacksonville by far you have got to try the lasagna and chicken parm the portion are very large.
The absolute best pasta, pizza, and calzones south of Boston. My daughters and I eat here at least once a week. Love the food and the family .

This is my second week being in this town after a big move and I was hankering for some authentic pizza. The lady on the phone(forgive me, I forgot your name) was pleasant and took my order for pick up since delivery wasn't available. During times like these, I'm not shocked that delivery wasn't available(I'm being reasonable). In terms of the quality, I absolutely loved my XL pepperoni pizza and my father enjoyed Luca's special(basically a supreme pizza). I will definitely be stopping by in the future for more pizza pies!

Lucas Italian restaurant is a little hole in wall restaurant, but so glad I stopped in. There house made Italian dressing on my salad was fantastic. The garlic knots were superb. Their stuffed shells were devine. The marinara sauce on them was some of the best I ever had. The chicken luca which is chicken breast a top fettuccine tossed in a lemon garlic sauce was perfection. The service from the servers is excellent as well. Definitely suggest this little place if you want an authentic italian bite to eat.
Why have I not been there before now?! The pizza was so good! My wife and I are already planning to go back. I bet the lasagna is magnificent! They have a stuffed eggplant over spaghetti too! The waitress was great too! My tea never made it to the bottom. I'm so stuffed.... Yeah, I think I can get one more piece down. Lol! Might be back tomorrow.
