First time here.
The taste of the food, both the menu items and the all you can eat buffet items, is your typical American version on Chinese food.
Nothing bad but nothing to get excited about.
The service was wonderful. We had 4 VERY YOUNG children and an 87 yearold (with an oxygen tank & walker) great-grandfather with us today. The staff was extremely helpful as we managed the various needs and abilities of all 10 people in our group.
Would return if in the area.
Great Chinese food and at a good price point as well. I haven’t tried their buffet but it’s been recommended to me and I’ve tried a couple of their take out options, my favorite being the house special fried rice. They get a good crowd for lunch but it’s large enough that you’d likely still find space and the parking lot is large enough that you’ll always find a spot. My only complaint would be that the link to the menu is out of date and I had to google the updated link. I also posted some pictures of their menu for convenience.
My family loves the Great China Restaurant. The lunch buffet is our favorite. They have many yummy things to eat. Some of our favorites are the ham fried rice, broccoli beef, rice noodles, sweet and sour soup, spicy black bean stir fry, and vegetarian spring rolls. My daughter with celiac disease has options for the buffet and also enjoys the food. Each time we are in Orem, we try to stop at the Great China for lunch.
Solid chinese buffet. And super reasonably priced, definitely make sure to try their wings
I’ve been going here since 2007 and when I was in high school. I love the food here for certain things. The chow mien, the five spice wings and char su pork. I love it here enough the only downside is service is slow no matter what if it’s busy or not. But it’s cheap so I don’t complain much.
The food is excellent. Great quality! The prices are very friendly for families. This is a hidden gem of you are looking for quality Chinese food for a great price. I took my family here and will be back again.
This fits the family owned Chinese restaurant stereotype too the T.
Low on maintenance, but high on quality and flavor. It even included a child doing homework in the dining room while parents worked 👍
LOVE this place! Hands down best Chinese food in Orem. Every time we come here the food is fantastic! Pictured is pork with garlic sauce, orange chicken and roast pork fried rice
Great price and meal includes a drink. The place is small but they have many regulars, so the food rotates fast and stays pretty fresh.
Easily some of the best Chinese food ive ever had. Used to be able to order on DoorDash too but seems like you cant any more. The Brocooli Beef and Orange Chicken are probably the best items on the menu. Just all around really good.
