The best Mexican restaurant in Orlando! So good. The staff is amazing and the food to die for!
Best Mexican flavors I have had in years. Our waitress gave us recommendations which is much appreciated because everything sounds amazing. We ordered passion fruit non alcoholic drinks that were so deliciously refreshing. We loved the fried calamari appetizer. The dinners were fresh and full of authentic flavors. I highly recommend. We will be back next time we are in Orlando. This is a vacation must from here on out.
I have been looking forward to eating here for the last 5 months. I had extremely high hopes for this restaurant and I can honestly say this is in the top 2 places I have ever eaten at. From the amazing look to the friendly stuff and amazing food. Everything was exceptional. The barria brisket was fantastic. The pork carnitas was juicy and super tender. The rice was perfectly cooked. The street corn was off the chart awesome. Nothing was to spicy. We are here for an additional 10 days and will be coming back next week
Absolutely amazing experience. Our waitress Heidi was so sweet. We got the strawberry mojito, churrasco, and chicken bowl. The chicken bowl tasted so fresh, it was absolutely amazing. The churrasco was also amazing. Would recommend both of these plates!! Atmosphere was nice, we sat outside since the inside was a bit loud/busy. We also got seated quickly. Wonderful experience!
I really like the bright, airy atmosphere at Agave Azul. It is so much better than the dark feel in most other Mexican themed restaurants.
The food is very good and tastes fresh. Our server, Fernando, was very friendly, and appropriately attentive.
1. Server made special spicy margarita & it was perfection!
2. Brisket tacos were mouth watering & chicken tamales great. Jalapeño rellenos was my favorite of all!
3. Service beyond compare. Every need met and they’re super attentive.
4. Portions good size. & chips with salsa delicious.
5. Plating was beautiful.
Everything we had here was fantastic! Christian was a really great server as well. The passionfruit Mojito was delicious as well as the chips and salsa. The chips and salsa are the best I have had a long time! We had the chicken bowl, as well as the flautas and tamales. We were traveling, but will definitely come back here when visiting.
Great portion sizes, I would recommend sharing an entree if you order an app. Staff were all pleasant and having a good time.
4 stars because the tables for 2 are really small, barely room for two entree plates, drinks, etc. Parking can be tough with the gym right next door.

The food was okay but the service was great. Our server was very patient and amazing at answering our questions. The calamari was fried too hard and had to be sent back but everything else was fine. I highly recommend the street corn.

Agave Azul was the first Mexican food joint that my friend and I tried in Orlando, and it did not disappoint.
The restaurant is quite big with indoor and outdoor seating areas, so we didn't have any difficulty getting seated when we arrived. Our server was very attentive, and the service was really fast. The restaurant was pretty clean and showcased Mexican art and modern architecture.
We ordered the following food items from their menu:
1. Horchata
2. Empanadas
3. Quesadilla
4. Churrasco (skirt steak)
Once you get seated, they bring you complimentary chips and salsa. Their chips were crispy and perfectly salted, and the salsa was very good and flavorful as well. It was low to medium spicy.
The horchata was also great. It comes in this cute pineapple glass. The cinnamon wasn't too overpowering. My friend ordered one for himself after he tried mine.
Empanadas were delicious, and the chimichuri sauce that came with it was the highlight of our meal. The pastry shell of the empanadas was flaky, golden brown, and slightly crispy on the outside while remaining tender on the inside. Each empanada had a flavorful and well-seasoned filling that was evenly distributed.
The skirt steak was cooked well, but it was very chewy. It was definitely a jaw workout. The beans were very flavorful, and the rice was cooked well. Fried yuca was good, too.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. :D
