Back Bay is a bar outside of the Bonnet Creek Wyndham. It's easily accessible by walking past the pool and has nice views of the whole compound. The staff are hilarious here, but also really nice and quick with service. The food is good, prices aren't bad and portions are good. Most people come here for a drink.
Food was good, drinks were ok. Greek salad and mahi mahi sandwich were the best I had from the menu. Our server Daniel was extremely on point, even when dealing with other customers he'd keep an eye out for when your drink/water was running low to check if you needed anything.
We really enjoyed the convenience, location, and views from this restaurant. They have a nice happy hour and great atmosphere for adults or families.
It's really a great experience and unique one at that.
If you know anything about my reviews you already know that I am all about great service, delicious food and unforgettable moments with family and friends. That’s what this Back Bay Bar and Grill encompasses! The service was nothing less than 5 stars. The food was to die for: we ordered two different spaghetti, chicken parmigiana, calamari, salmon, chocolate cake, tiramisu and of course no meal is complete without a savory wine and this one from Italy was nothing short of amazing. The ambiance was excellent and the table was beautifully set. The only thing missing (if I have to add something) was a little music 🎶. Other than that I believe it was a wonderful dining experience with family, friends, great conversations and dinner that left us all “licking our chops”. Not a single thing to complain about. Go hungry and get ready to leave stuffed! Enjoy 💕
This place was perfect for a quick bite to eat. I expected typical bar food that was just bland and generic. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The jalapeño burger was excellent and we also had the sweet Thai chili chicken tenders. Tons of flavor.
Genesis was our server and she was also wonderful. If you’re here and need a great and casual meal, be sure to stop here.
I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Carmelo! He is very personable and engaging. He had great recommendations and constantly checked to see if I needed anything while there. Food was good and hot! My vigin daiquiri was super yummy! I sat on the patio. You do have to watch out for the birds which Carmelo warned me about, but overall a great place for a midday meal and great service!
The cheese fries presentation was absolutely horrendous... they really could try harder considering how much people pay to come here and how much it costs for the food I feel like they dropped the ball on presentation! It was the wrong plate and the wY the cheese was on the fries by the time we got to the bottom it was mushy... smaller plate and maybe drizzle the cheese and sour cream not just a vat of cheese poured on top. It's definitely overpriced for what it is... 22 bucks for a burger with super thick uncooked bacon and I opted for no side because I didn't want more fries and it was still 22 bucks smh ... think about the customer and how much they're spending at the hotel already. Absolutely ridiculous if you ask me
Great restaurant and bar dockside overlooking lake with an amazing view. Simple American menu with some good appetizers. Staying on property, I would highly recommend it it's reasonably priced for a resort. Had a spicy chicken wrap and a bourbon burger along with a couple drinks. Depending on the wind, you may get wet from the overspray from the lake fountain, so be careful where you sit. I would come back here.
Good place for drinks and pub grub if you want something quick and tasty. Staff was amazing, and great music.
As someone who typically does not review places as I am easily agitated by inconveniences but tips more than I should I am aware ratings I give will show significance negatively without validity please note the staff are absolutely amazing. I had a wonderful time being served by Chris P, with a friendly face and amazing mixed drinks. He let me buy drinks for my friends who otherwise refuse to let me pay. Chris acted as an increase to the mood; adding smiles and joy. Having not had a vacation since 2017 I could not picture a better person to improve the night! I hope others can enjoy the atmosphere as much as myself!
