This place is a hidden Gem in downtown Orlando, Amazing food, Fantastic service. If you haven't had it yet come here for lunch now.
I eat breakfast and lunch here often since I work in the building. The food is so yummy and the Cuban bread is irresistible. Cortadito makes my morning
The best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had. The housemade bread is to die for. The staff is friendly and helpful and gave us some.great local tips for sights and eats!
Great food. The authentic Cuban was cooked perfectly. They cook their roast pork in house. It makes the whole building smell amazing and the food did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
Food is always magnificent. Always been with a group and the group always loves it. Service is great. Can't do a lot for the atmosphere given the location but they try and it's cute.
But the food is so good you don't care. Try this place, you won't regret it.
The owner and family were extremely helpful when it came to ordering lunch for our work group of 30 people. They made sure everything was taken care of exactly as we needed it. The food and Cuban beverage selection were fantastic, the meals were delicious, and the service was phenomenal. Hope to be in the area again soon so I can introduce others to this amazing place!
It’s located inside of the Fairwinds Credit Union building. There is free parking in a small lot on the side of the building. There is paid parking across the street. The cafe is tucked away in a small corner. Very good coffee and super nice staff! So glad to have visited. Seems most of their customers work in the upper floors of the building, so it’s a very quiet restaurant.
Ps: they have recently adjusted their prices due to inflation (see the photo I added).
Pps: on my third visit, I came at 7:30 am, which is their opening time. The doors were closed. The security guard informed me they’re usually open a few minutes after 7:30. So, keep that in mind when you’re planning your trip. Amazing empanadas!
2023- delicious as usual, been coming here well over 15 years, love this place.
This is genuine authentic Cuban food as it is a family operated cafe with one of best "Bistec de Palomilla" plates ever (Cuban Steak Plate, with Rice & Beans) with some delicious onions. Been going here for more than 15 years and always get the same thing, never disappointed with the food or service. If you in downtown and want some good Cuban food for lunch, this is without a doubt worth a stop.
I came in late as they were cleaning up. Having just traveled in from out of state I just wanted a Cuban sandwich and plantains! CAC delivered! Food was good and prices were fair. The owner was super passionate about sharing his cultural favorites and encouraged me to come back. I’m going to try to hit up their breakfast menu this week while I’m in town.
Thanks!

Very good food. Worth the trip
Went to my bank in the same building and decided to give Cuban American Cafe a try today. I had the authentic Cuban sandwich. It was delicious and only $9. I met the owner who was a nice guy and found out he’d been there twenty years. That speaks volumes when a restaurant in this market can last that long. I’ll be back for sure.
Pretty good spot for a Cuban lunch. The food tasted good and the staff were friendly. I left off one-star because I felt they can improve their recipes a little in order to achieve authentic flavors. Overall, great experience!!
