For a resort hotel cafe, I have been very impressed by this place! It is so convenient to have this type of restaurant in the hotel whether you want to grab something and head out to the parks or if you have time to sit inside and have a meal. There is plenty of seating. The staff is so friendly and we appreciated that they took allergy/dietary restrictions very seriously. The pizza is delicious! Definitely a must try and it’s made to order so it’s always fresh and hot. I thought the prices were pretty inexpensive. I got a breakfast combo that came with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and a biscuit for $11. And it was pretty good and very filling! I didn’t need to eat again until much later in the day. It’s not fancy at all but it’s a great spot to grab a meal or some snacks before starting your day.
After a long day the airport, my husband and I were looking forward to dinner once getting to Surfside. After putting our order, we were told that they were out of what we ordered, but Julynn was SO amazing about it! She truly made us feel so cared about and like she had known us forever and wanted to make sure our stay was the best it could be.
The food has been wonderland and my husband (who is VERY particular about food) said it was the best French dip he has ever had.
The food has been delicious so far the people are friendly and Julynn really knows how to run the show, she goes above and beyond. The upper echelon of the resort should know she is why the cafe is successful, so don’t lose her :)
