Flor De Jalisco was an amazing experience. The very BEST Mexican food I have ever had in Southern California! I have tried five menu items to date and they have all been over-the-top delicious and served HOT, not lukewarm like some other places.
The ambiance is like that of a restaurant charging much, much more. It is cozy in size, but comfortable enough to stretch your legs. The outdoor patio is also quite nice.
The owner is often present and so friendly and accommodating. He is truly a joyful person and it permeates the entire place, even when he's not there.
I hope every person passing through Bermuda Dunes gets a chance to stop in and experience this wonderful place.
Wish I could give them a 10 star. My husband and I love Mexican food and have traveled all over America and tried Mexican everywhere we go. This probably is the best we've ever eaten. Taco salad amazing and the burrito with shredded beef was excellent. Place was packed when we got there with 1 waiter but he was top notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

As Mexican lovers visiting Palm Desert, we searched and read reviews and came across this establishment. This restaurant was hands down 5 star. The atmosphere, attentive service, food and drinks were all fantastic! The owner made us feel like family. They have the strongest margaritas we’ve ever had at any restaurant we’ve ever been too😅 We ordered the frozen and classic. The chicken fajitas were so delicious, fresh and authentic. This place is a true hidden gem so if you are thinking about it, just do it! You will leave extremely “happy” and full with no regrets!🤩 Thank you Flor De Jalisco!🤗
The cuisine and beverages, the ambiance, and the attentive service were all excellent! We were treated like family by the owner. Of all the restaurants we've been to, they had the strongest margaritas we've ever experienced.
Food is really good & refreshing and it is reasonably priced. You get enough food for your money.
It is a Medium sized restaurant, due to which seating can be limited due to peak time period.
Amazing Mexican food - probably close to authentic as possible. Burrito, rice/beans was amazing … some chicken special was melting in my mouth. A bit disappointed w the margarita but still gets a 5 star rating
They have so many delicious things on the menu. We've tried multiple entries and they were all fantastic! This is not our typical Mexican food place exceptional quality food and service.

Best ground beef period... trust me, try it. If you normally order a cheese enchilada, try getting one cheese and one ground beef. Just try it, you won't be disappointed.
The service is a little hit n miss. We love the owner who happens to be there very frequently.
Trust me though when I say, the food makes up for it. Manage your expectations. They're short staffed like everywhere. Hang in there. Be nice, and enjoy the food.
As I said anything with their signature ground beef is sure to wow you. I also love the cheese enchiladas. I typically get red sauce but their green sauce is very savory, flavorful and delicious.
1 key thing I enjoy about their Combos, is that one of the selectable items is a wet style mi I burrito. Try the ground beef ;)
Anywho. The Sopas are delicious as well. A little crispy, a little crunchy, a little chewy... so good.
Coupled with fresh lettuce and ingredients etc and you've got food that not only keeps us coming back, but has me craving it from time to time.
Definitely come here. This will be without a doubt the best Mexican in the desert (food wise). If you're looking for atmosphere and gimmicks then yeah, go to terrazza or Armandos. But if you want truly delicious good, come here.

The atmosphere is akin to that of an expensive restaurant. Although it is little, it is snug and allows you to spread your legs. It's also lovely to have the terrace outside.
