Definitely a unique, local menu, full of flavor! Lots of variety. Oysters, seafood, gumbo, a lot to choose from. The beer was in Frozen mugs! Great experience overall. The environment and decor inside is comfortable, and really cool.
Great place to bring your catch if deboned and filleted ready to grill. We had a good catch of Red Snapper and brought them here. Delicious is an understatement. Fresh fish plus them being cooked to perfection made it the perfect ending to good day. Pricing is very reasonable. Sides included fries, slaw, fried peppers and onions. Add a draft beer and it just doesn’t get any better.
We are locals and finally tried this place. Some of the food was exceptional whereas other items were good. The no name pie (made by the owner's 80-year-old sister from what we were told) was absolutely amazing. It was the best we ever had. I wish that lady a very long life so we can come back again and again for her fantastic desserts. She has skills. The smoked pork chop special was like eating a great smoked ham. Very good. The Cole slaw and potatoes were good. The gumbo was good. The red beans and rice with sausage only had one piece of sausage in the whole dish and was just okay. The oysters (southern and J Michaels) were good but I prefer them in the shell because I think it keeps them warmer. Or maybe it was just that the dish they were in wasn't warmed up. The cheese had solidified and it was not hot or even that warm when we got them. But otherwise they were good.
The service was good. It was a bit of a wait but that is to be expected in the summer.
We will definitely be back, especially for their amazing dessert.
The service was perfect. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The server was very knowledgeable and informative of the items on the menu. The establishment was clean and no tables had clutter on them in spite of how busy they were. The quality and temperature of the meal was stellar. The ambiance and setting was great and enjoyable. The sports on the TV’s was and the perfect sound level and not so loud it overpowered the conversation. The shotguns hanging from the ceiling was a nice touch too. I will definitely return.
We went fishing 🎣 caught our fish 🐠 brought them to the marina had them cleaned brought them here and they cooked them up. Price's were great. Food was AMAZING 🤩 definitely recommend this place. Waitress was super nice and lot's to look at in the restaurant. A all around beautiful 🤩 place!
As a lifer here on PCB, my wife and I enjoy giving our business to friends that make you feel special when you walk in the door. A must visit!
I won't spoil the surprise, one of a kind decor but have your camera ready to snap some pics and share with your friends!
A reasonably priced Seafood restaurant with some family recipes that no one carries.
We enjoy the daily specials and one of us always gets the Fried Flounder Dinner with 2 sides for $12.95. We always bring some home, as it's too much to finish!
You won't regret visiting this locals favorite restaurant.
A must when in PCB. Oysters are always good. Just a cool place to go after long day in beach.
Shrimp J Michael's!!
Great seafood, service and decor. Loved the the tributes to other restaurants of the time which are now gone.
We’ve been coming here for sometime. We miss the summer months because it’s so busy but look forward to September when the beach quiets down. Don’t let the crowds scare you but I just have other choices. The food is good. The red beans and rice aren’t what you expect in a fish restaurant but it’s wonderful. Of course the fish is good. You’ll enjoy the atmosphere and while you wait try to estimate how many dollars bills are on the wall. When you figure that out, figure out how they are still there after Hurricane Michael.
Enjoy!!
We stopped in for a family lunch. The service and food is absolutely delicious. 💯
