My wife and I have never ate at Angelos, and upon reading some of the reviews I am some what shocked. We had onion rings as an appetizer, drinks, ribeyes, she had salad and a baked potato I had green beans and clam chowder. The entire meal was excellant and our service was above par, the toung man was friendly, courtious, and helpful as well as attentful. I believe his name was Jordan. We highly recommend the place and give it 5 out of 5.
I've been here numerous times only once has the group of thirty I go with ever sent back a steak. My favorites are
- T-Bone with a Baked Potato (all the way)
- Onion rings
Good ole Angelo's. Pricey but good food, you get what you pay for. It was salty this year for the first time in 25 years still best we had in while.
I would go back. Liked the retro atmosphere.. It was a good experience; the service was really good. The food was good but not great. That being said, I feel it has the potential to be "great" on any given visit--so I would go back. Overall, I would give it a B-, but would hope for a solid A next trip.

We like, we like this place very much.. ****THIS REVIEW IS REALLY ABOUT ANGELOS STEAK PIT****I wish that we would have tried this place sooner than we did. My wife and I have not been to PCB FL on vacation in 15 years or more. We have now been in PCB about 3 and 1/2 weeks. We have been to the "superb seafood place" lol (CAPT--N ANDER---'S) 2 times with friends had pretty bad service both times and the food taste like had been frozen (not fresh) and is way over priced. The servers try to rush people in and out for more tips etc. We wont go back to CAPT--N ANDER---'S.
******ANGELOS STEAK PIT******on the other hand, while still a bit pricey was way better than that other place. A young lady name Jade was our server. WE were very very impressed by her and the attentive way she waited on us. The food was amazing. The prices are really not that bad considering the super service and the fabulous food. When you go, if you are an alcohol drinker, try the ? ? (I forgot the whole name) Steer, made with banana liqueur. It was the bomb. We give JADE and ANGELOS STEAK PIT very high rating. We will go there again and I don't think it will be 15 years. I think they will be closing for the season on OCT 10, and reopen in the spring of 2015.
Just good, not great.. I ordered the filet mignon & shrimp for a whopping $28. It was good. Just good. I will save my money and just get the sirloin next time. We went with a crowd of 20 folks. If you have over 15 people in your party you must be willing to split into multiple tables. That was not a problem for us. I will definitely return, I just thought it was a lot of hype for a steak! Also, they "overcook" your meat. If you like a medium steak you will have to order a medium rare to get the desired cook on your meat, and so on. Just throwing that out there.

Great steaks and shrimp. Great steaks and Shrimp always a favorite when were down on vacation...stay clear of anything BBQ though its very different not my taste. My favorite is the Ribeye even over the filet
Best steak ive ever had! Def recommend the BBQ sauce, yes even w the steak;) n the French salad dressing was amazing. I wanna by a bottle!!

Locals. We are locals, and do NOT like to mingle amongst "tourists" but... we venture out "across the bridge" to eat at Angelos! The steaks seared on hickory embers keeps our mouths watering!! No matter the cut, we ALWAYS squeeze our lemons upon our steaks to make that hickory flavor most delectable!
I have ate here since I was a small child with my parents. We came every June to PCB and this was a place my parents loved!
Here I am grown eating at this nostalgic place for me and I am sure others.
Brings back floods of memories for me!
The steaks are amazing! They are cooked over wood which gives that smoky taste. The steaks are tender and mouth watering! The Salads and Baked potatoes are fresh as well!
We ate on Monday I had the ribeye. Amazing!
So good we went back Friday night and I had the NY strip…amazing! Worth every penny!
Our waiter Robert was amazing! Customer service from start to finish was top notch!
If you’re in the area starting in March 2024..do yourself a favor and swing by! Never disappoints.

Our food was cooked to order and came out hot and fresh. The garlic cheese bites were a great starter. The steaks were delicious. We enjoyed everything. The service was top-notch as well. A little pricey but well worth it

Angelo’s Steak Pit has always been a favorite of ours even though we hardly ever dine in there. I am not sure why it’s one of our favorites. Maybe it’s Big Gus or maybe it’s that place that we always sought after to eat at and never really do, but who knows! The atmosphere takes you back to the Wild West of gunslingers and pioneers heading west to find gold. Well, at least for me, that’s what it brings me back to. Our waiter and the service was great and we had no complaints there. As for the food, it is really expensive compared to the places we usually eat at. This is probably one of the main reasons we don’t go here. The cheapest kids meals are $13.99 which happen to be the kids Steer Burger and the kids Chicken Tenders. I happened to get the Hamburger Stake which was $22.99. It was very thick and cooked well, but personally I did not like it. It was dried out and just not very tasty. But, I guess that’s what I get for ordering the Hamburger Steak instead of a steak. My choice of steak is just to high here starting at $34.99 and up. There are a couple of steaks at $26.99 and $27.99. We still love Angelo’s Steak Pit, but it will forever be that place we always want to eat at but don’t because of the high prices and how busy it gets here. It’s a very popular place!
First time visiting and usually I do not eat steak away from my house simply because hard to find a good cut a meat and cooked the way we like it cooked.but friends wanted to go so not to be rude we went.first of it’s a nice restaurant good cozy family atmosphere.the wait wasn’t that bad and got nice little store to shop in to pass the wait time.we all ordered steak and the meat was to us select cut of meat not a lot of marbling but cooked perfect and tender with a wood fire taste just not choice cut of meat not my worse but definitely not the best although better than a fast food chain.the potato was good fries was fast food like!no cheese on the salad and the bread was plain no garlic buttered!but our service was great.not sure I will go back the price just didn’t match the food.still trying to figure out what the soup was!suppose to been clam chowder.there signature drink with there”bourbon” was tart lemonade
This place is as "old school" as it gets. I love dining here everytime I visit PCB. It smells and reminds me of places I use to eat as a child. I love the smokiness of the steaks. The food is always good. Service is always good. It's always a great visit! BTW .... The owner has his own line of bourbons you can purchase at the restaurant. Haven't cracked open this bottle but looking forward to it!
Anna is absolutely amazing. She made my entire night. I had the night of my life. I got engaged tonight and she made the entire party feel special and feel at home. Food was delicious. Anna is so personable and made sure we had everything we needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Anna. We’ll be back soon and ask for you!!!
Fabulous filet! It came with soup or salad plus baked potato or other choices. Loved the cold salad bowl and crispy salad. I had not been for years but since I now live in PCB will be a go to place for lunch and dinner. I can't wait to try the ribs again! I also enjoyed that it was not too loud for easy conversation 👏 Good for large groups.
Another great year for us to visit Angelo’s Steak Pit and Panama City Beach a wonderful place to eat. Great food great service great atmosphere can say nothing but good things about this place. Everybody should go there and eat.
Loved the steak! I felt like the waiter was rushing us. He didn't bring my appetizer and all of a sudden our dinner was there, then he didn't ask if we wanted dessert, which we did. He was friendly. I definitely recommend this place.
Rib eye steak was fantastic. Service was outstanding. This place has an old school feeling and you can tell the steak is top quality. You will love their steak.
