Back Beach Barbecue

My family of 4 ate at Back Beach BBQ while visiting the PCB area, all the way from Wyoming! Hubby and I both got the brisket sandwiches. The meat was hand sliced right in front of us! The mac and cheese and potato salad were our sides, both delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly staff who gave us time to decide on what we wanted to order. Our kids each got the half-chicken. They easily could've shared it! Large portions! The house BBQ sauces were flavorful. The spicy one has a nice little kick.

The food here is awesome. We were a little leary since we were coming close to closing time, but we had nothing to fear, this bbq was some of the best we've had from a restaurant in a long time. We used to cater bbq for a few years ourselves, so we are very picky on our bbq. We had 1.5 lbs of shredded pork, 1 lb of shredded chicken, bbq baked beans, and macaroni & cheese. It was all fresh. No sauce needed on the meat. It had a great taste straight off the smoker.

When you venture into Back Beach BBQ in PCB, you are greeted by the mouthwatering aroma of slow-cooked meats that promises a delightful BBQ experience. As far as portion sizes go, the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches certainly deliver, generously filled and perfect for a hearty meal. While the brisket was good, it was, however, a tad on the dry side. It was still delicious but fell a bit short of the absolute best we've tasted. Another point to note, for those seeking a BBQ adventure through multiple meats, is that Back Beach BBQ doesn't offer a dedicated sampler plate. This means if you're looking to try a variety, you'll be paying a per-pound price, which can add up. A reasonably priced sampler combo would be a welcome addition to their menu. Their homemade sausage, while filling, was a tad bland in flavor. However, the star of the show, without a doubt, were the beef ribs (available only on Fridays and Saturdays). They were everything you look for in a beef shank rib - juicy, full-flavored, and incredibly tender. Truly a weekend treat not to be missed! Back Beach BBQ also offers a sweet respite from the heat with its deeply air-conditioned interior dining area. A great spot to unwind, escape the heat, and indulge in some finger-licking BBQ. A particular highlight was their sweet BBQ sauce. Generously offered in takeout cups, it was a fantastic accompaniment to the meal and a great touch to take a bit of the Back Beach BBQ experience home! While we deducted a star, don't let this deter you from visiting. Back Beach BBQ is indeed a good spot to enjoy some tasty BBQ. While it might not be the absolute best BBQ you've ever had, it delivers a satisfying meal that'll leave you feeling full and content. Just make sure to head there on a Friday or Saturday to try those delectable beef ribs!

I loved coming here! I absolutely stuffed my face with brisket!! BBQ sauces were amazing to pair. That one missing star is because my Mac/cheese was cold :( the flavor was great but would’ve been a 5 star meal of it was hot!

This is the best place for some good BBQ. The owner is off the chain we really appreciate her attitude and professionalism. Excellent customer service, you can’t find that in todays world. She made it happen. We are from Atlanta.. Fairburn , Ga. . Thanks again we will be back!!!!! Appreciate you!!
