Wow!!!! Food was amazing! My husband is still talking about his meal 3 days later. I know they do weddings here. I wonder if that is the same chef. He was fabulous! Charlotte our waitress made the best drinks. View of the sunset was spectacular. The restaurant decor was beautiful as well.
All of our food was FABULOUS. I had the Shrimp and grits. My son had the braised short ribs. Our server was brand new, but she was fabulous. I'll post pictures.
I have a love hate relationship with Tides. They do have great quality steaks. The food is always good sometimes great, the Tomahawk ribeye, OMG, is a meal for 2 $60 bring it back more often please. The bartending though is sometimes average and often pitiful. Give the bartender an iPad or something! The view is pretty nice. Locals and Bluegreen owners get a discount on food making it almost supermarket prices.
Wasn't expecting much as it's art of a hotel change, but was pleasantly surprised as the waiter Terry was funny, engaging and new the menu! Ordered the fix price meal of BBQ salmon with quinoa and kale. Fantastic taste and the portions were large!
The key lime pie was a little sweet for my taste but that would be the only downside!
I had the ribeye with broccolini and cheese grits and my wife had the chicken and shrimp pasta. Both were excellent! Service was friendly and attentive.
We are saying at the resort and decided to eat at Tides!!! Great service from Scott!! Great food from the kitchen!!! We had the BBQ rub salmon from the prefix menu!!! You get a Caesar salad, main entree and desert!! Everything was amazing!!!
My wife and I came for Thanksgiving and we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The breakfasts were good, about what you'd think but the dinners were really good. Caprice waited on us twice and she was fantastic. We had really good service the entire time but she took it over the top!! The Filet was really good, the Ribeye was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly, the Prime Rib was spot on. Was highly impressed with the Thanksgiving Buffet. You can tell they are short staffed, just like most restaurants in the USA right now, but they did a great job taking care of us.

We are pleasantly surprised! A lot of times the hotel restaurants are okay but this place is fabulous. Apparently there's a fairly new chef from New York and he is outstanding. We had the wedge salad and bruschetta to start then I had the mahi-mahi blackened, it melted in my mouth. My friend had the ribeye, done perfectly. The drinks were great. Server, Elena, is amazing. She provided us with absolutely fabulous service.
Great food. The service was wonderful. Get a great view of the sunset.
