I happen to like Kobe's - been going there for quite a few years before it caught on with locals.
Their lunch boxes are a good deal, add a sushi roll or two and it's a good meal for two!
Skeptic that now is a fan!. I didn't look very appealing on the outside but I really wanted habachi so we tried it it was so good we went back the very next week
I got the steak and shrimp and added scallops! ! the price was great and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection!!! I will be going back to try the sushi now

One of the best hibachi dinners I've had and that's saying a lot since I've been to so many. Went on a Friday night around 7:30. Ordered the edamame app and they were delicious. Had the filet mignon ($20.95) for dinner and it was melt in your mouth, so tender. It can get pricey especially if you start to ask for requests or substitutes. The only complaint I have is that the chef put shrimp sauce in the noodles, pretty much drowned them actually which I was surprised to see since a lot of people dont like the sauce. Really wish he would of asked.
From the exterior it appears to be an average building. Walking in the main entrance your greeted by a mini montage of oriental statues resembling happy Buddha's. Walking in greeted by several waitresses with warm smiles sat us at our table. Several menus were provided and the staff had no problem elaborating on each dish in question. Service was impeccable,sushi was amazing and quality cuts were used and the freshness was appealing to the pallet. Our main courses were amazing as well. I highly recommend Kobe for those looking for authentic Japanese cuisine. Most definitely will be returning to Kobe in future visits and you definitely get your monies worth.
I absolutely love this restaurant, it is my new favorite! The service is wonderful and the food is absolutely delicious! Plus, it is very affordable! Less than 20 dollars (and that's with a tip) for all you can eat and more.
Always a good choice. The chef's are entertaining, the food is great, and the portions are plentiful. It's almost enough to make you forget the bill, almost.

Great Sushi. This is the second place I tried when first trying out Sushi, back in the day when I wasn't sure I liked sushi or not. Ever since I tried this place, I have been back time and time again. The sushi is always fresh, reasonably priced, and very friendly staff. My favorite rolls here are the steak roll and the ninja roll. Although I do try to try out some of the new rolls when they come out. I recommend this place to all my friends and anyone asking for a good sushi bar in Panama City.

We read the description and decided to try it out. The decor kinda made us wonder, but once our food arrived all doubts we gone. The sushi was very flavorful and imaginative. My son had the sesame chicken and the chicken was fresh fried tempura style which was a wonderful change. We will definitely be back on our next trip!
We read reviews before going and most were positive. We arrived and were thrown off by the lack of decor and look of the place. We contemplated leaving but SO glad we didn't. The food was amazing! Our chef was really good and you can tell he knows what he's doing! We will definitely return!
The service was great! The waiter recommended the white orchid sushi roll which was delicious! The sesami beef and fried rice was excellent! And the bill was cheap for the amount of food. Definitely an underrated restaurant! Post script. Sadly Kobe was destroyed by Hurricane Michael and what was left of the building has been demolished.
My husband and I live nearby and we get a to go order on a weekly basis. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. They have by FAR the BEST combination fried rice we have ever had! Definitely worth trying for yourself!
I have been coming here for years and not once have I ever had a problem with service or the food. There's a reason they've been around for so long. The food is delicious and the service is quick and friendly. It's also pretty fun picking up on the different languages they speak.
I haven't been here in a while button only because I haven't been withing in this area lately. But the female server (maybe the daughter of owner... Maybe) has always taken excellent care of me and the food is always delicious. House Fried Rice baby!

My family and I go here regularly and is the best place in town to get a filet. And everything they make for that matter, the rice and shrimp are just as good. I will say it isn't the most modern up to date or cleanest restaurant in town but the food is definitely worth it and cheaper than Tokyo, osaka and Makito. Give it a try if you haven't yet, you won't regret it.

This restaurant speaks quality the chef my family and I had was fabulous he did so well I was so impressed by the way he cooked our meal.. yes the decor isn't the best but the quality and care the staff were quick with getting refills on drinks and with the chef he was quick to complete cooking and even checked to make sure our orders were correct the sushi was amazing and it was made quick and brought out. The chef had one heck of a sense of humor and made watching him cook the meal fun. It is very authentic and I enjoyed it very much the food was splendid and worth what we paid for it.. one thing that disappointed me was they only had one of the 4 or 5 desert choices available for purchase but that was the only issue I had... the staff were so helpful and friendly... i dont suggest this restraunt for diabetics because alot of the sauces are sweet.. hope this is a help
Great food and great service. They have been in pc for over 13 years while others come and go. I agree the place needs remodeling but sushi is good, best habachi show and lots of food. People need to try them and make sure you review and comment about the right restaurant KOBE.
