Food was absolutely delicious. Service was great, super polite. Every time we went we tried a different plate and it was all delicious. Definitely a restaurant I recommend as a Puerto Rican.
This place is great! One of the only places in the area to eat Puerto Rican and Cuban food and they do not disappoint. Give them a try!
Excellent food, great find in my FL trip, tried the ham croquettes and the skirt steak and both excellant, probably my own fault I should of asked for the steak to be med rare cause it was a little to well done but next time I'll make sure to ask
Absolutely a must try if your looking for some good Puerto Rican /Cuban food!!! Try the cheese stuffed yuca and the mofongo is definitely a Top 5!!!
This is by far the best Cuban food I’ve had since I left Miami! Highly recommend the Cuban sandwich! It’s truly authentic Cuban cuisine! I’m so happy I found this place and will be going back again and again!
I've been over due to leave a review. This place was most definitely a hidden treasure. I'm originally from south FL and to find a place like this in the panhandle was amazing!!! The food was always great, the deserts, milk shakes, and yes most definitely the coffee!! The staff there also amazing!!
This place here is a must visit while in panama city!! Shout out to Sheila, Moms, home girl with the glasses and all staff! You all make that place an amazing experience!
Food is very delicious. Reasonable price. Big portion. Restaurant +restroom are clean. Ample parking. The service is fast. But staff isn’t friendly. The lady at the counter didn’t smile or greet us when we walked in. The Only one server is friendly.
Wonderful food and friendly staff! Of course we ordered Cuban sandwich, sweet plantains, rice and black beans, and horchata!

A co-worker kept telling me about this place and I was like "Yeah-Yeah." I should have listened to her sooner! This place has Puerto Rican and Cuban dishes and they DO NOT disappoint! The meat pies are like empanadas and have great flavor. We had both beef and chicken. As I am a true carnivore, I liked the beef best. I had the roast pork and my wife had the skirt chicken! The sweet plantains were rockin! Try the trimofongo! YUM! Sadly, they were out of flanes so I will have to try to get there earlier next time. As we were leaving, the place became packed! So we ordered additional meals to go. Even tho I was stuffed, I couldn't wait to get home and dig into the food we brought home! Our waitress was patient and explained EVERYTHING to us! Extra points for that alone! I know exactly who to bring here next time we visit! I know this place is tucked into a little space but don't let appearances fool you! Keep this on your list of go-to places to eat around town!
Don’t hesitate! This is a must visit when in Panama City. We stayed in Destin but drove twice just to eat here. Food is well seasoned, good portions, very authentic! Best snapper (pictured below). We also had the beef empanadas and tried all of the flavored flans… recommend the guava flan. Great, friendly, welcoming staff. Can’t wait to visit again in the near future.
