We just had dinner there....the food is simply amazing!! Huge portions and wonderful lady behind the counter. We live Jamaica and this is THE spot for jerk chicken and curried goat...the rice and peas are out of this world and you will come away and with plenty leftover!! Wondeful find!!!
Great food and great people. I felt defeated coming to the beach looking for quality food after going into about 5 different seafood restaurants. But then I saw Cool Runnings and felt "I may be saved. But knowing I'm in a tourist location I'm doubtful so I'm thinking, let me make sure this is authentic Carribean food before I get excited.

I discovered this place last year when I visited. It was so good then, I just knew I had to go again this go round. I love that they’ve remodeled. It looks great!
I started off with a beef patty while my food was being prepared. It had good flavor and a nice flaky crust. Definitely had more room to be filled with more meat, but I’d eat it again as it comes.
I also ordered a medium curry chicken and oxtail combo w/ cabbage & rice and beans. I didn’t like that there’s an up charge for rice and beans; otherwise it’s just plain white rice. Everything tasted great and was full of flavor. Well…everything but the rice and beans. It tasted pretty bland. Probably would have been much better had I remembered to request extra sauce from the entrees be poured over the rice.
There was enough for my dinner tonight as well as another meal tomorrow. Definitely worth the money!
*Still traumatized from my last visit* I do not recommend the potato salad.
This is the BEST Curri Goat plate you can get stateside. I’ve searched far and wide for something to taste this good. The service is quick and the food is hotter than hot. Definitely stop by and fulfill your needs.
The absolute best food I've ever had! My husband and I walked by the restaurant at 830 am and we could smell the smoke from the smoker- from that point, we decided we were eating that for dinner. We walked there for dinner...I had the jerk chicken and my husband had the ox tail and fried chicken. This meat fell off the bone!!! The smoke flavor was out of this world! So good! The cabbage was perfect and the red beans and rice were cooked to perfection and were the best compliment to the meat. If you pay attention to any review, pay attracting to this one. GO HERE AND EAT. You absolutely won't regret it. It was so good, I actually had to call and speak with the chef. I'm in awe.
Late night meal while on vacation. My husband is Jamaican and I had been craving oxtails. DELICIOUS. Wait time was a bit long but the food made up for it. I got a large and had plenty left the next day.
Last year, I gave them 4 stars because they ran out of vegetables. This year, they had everything, and everything was delicious! 5 stars all the way, food, service, and atmosphere were on point. We ordered online and just picked it up, easy peasy!
Stop in here to eat lunch during a business trip and everything was AMAZING. The atmosphere, service, the follow through after we were eating to see if we needed anything else, and the delicious food was outstanding. I've never order to go food and the food was still steaming after I opened the box. The authenticity and flavors of meal was spot on, home cooked Caribbean Cuisine. My expectations of take out has risen two levels. I love this place.
Satisfied our craving for jerk chicken. Appreciate their service though - they let us watch change the channel on their TV to the Celtics/Heat playoffs game a while back. We were also missing an item at first, but they were professional about it when we informed them and they still checked on us later. Overall, chicken was tender and flavorful, had flavor and the taste of love put in it. Rice and peas was on the dry side…. but will add a disclaimer, we may be a little biased coming from the Caribbean capital of NY, so I hope this says a lot.
I’ve been in town for over 2 weeks now for work! And each state that I visit I’m always looking for my roots, Jamaican Food! And this place felt like I was back at yard with their flavors!! Soup is AMAZING!!! , fried chicken delicious. My boyfriend and others enjoyed the jerk chicken and to top it off Geneva pleasant voice.. so sweet and welcoming I will definitely miss her custom service.
O M G!!!! I used to live in Tobago for a lil while, and that's when I was introduced into Caribbean food. Having this jerked chicken, baked chicken, and a meat patty, brought back so many amazing memories. Geneva was so kind and clicked with me the second she heard where I lived! Made the whole experience as amazing as their food is! The flavor, the spice, ugh!! Everything was absolutely incredible! 10/10 would recommend eating here!
To say this was delicious is definitely an understatement. This took me right back to our visit in Jamaica. The chicken, pork, plantains, and all the sides were packed with delicious spices and flavor! Food portions are large so you get a great bargain. Highly highly recommend trying this place out next time you’re in town. Ohhh one last thing….the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait for our next dinner.
