I had never been in a Great American Cookies store. While waiting for Dillard's Department store to open at Pier Park, two of us decided a pretzel sounded good. Looking at the directory, Great American Cookies was close, it offered pretzels, we we made the short walk to the store.
It was a delightful experience. The pretzels came with a variety of options. Despite the various options, we opted for a regular cup of the plain pretzel bites. These are small, big bite sized pretzels. They are different than the regular pretzels commonly seen in grocery stores and they taste better.
They were very fresh. They were soft and cooked to perfection. One cup does not sound like a big order but the two of us split the cup and a coke and we were very satisfied.
The pretzels were worth thinking about and returning because they were served hot and fresh and almost melted in the mouth.
The staff was very friendly. Other options included a variety of cookies and cakes.
The restaurant was very small but very neat, clean and attractively decorated.
A small place, a limited menu with food that was perfect, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. It was worth a visit. I am looking forward to going back again!
Need a quick round cookie this morning. Hutchinson Blvd would not do it. Wouldn’t even ask details !! Thank goodness pier park has it in the oven now. It’s a good day!
Such a great experience! I live in KY and called trying to get cookies delivered and I believe I was speaking with the owner. He was very very helpful and pleasant to speak with for a birthday delivery for my cousin. Will continue to use this store for future birthdays in my family. I’ll be in Florida soon and will be purchasing again for myself.

Holy moly, a Double Doozie and one of their slushees is where it’s at. Great location with plenty of other things to do nearby.
We ate across the way at San Marcos recently and I treated myself to a Great American Cookie for dessert.
No regrets.
Got a cookie cake for son’s birthday, had it done in 30 minutes and it was fresh!
Ordered a cookie cake for my father’s 70th birthday and the website took the order for a time before it was open. The delivery service cancelled the order and I was in the hospital with my mom and couldn’t pick up. The associate was no help, but got manager on call and he delivered the cake, personally. What would’ve kept me from ever using this company again, turned into a satisfied customer who will use them again thanks to the manager alone. Customer service is king.
Love that the same owner from the mall is holding down this location! They are awesome, I placed an order online and received a phone call to make sure my order is what I wanted. I loath going to pier park honestly but made the trip just for the cookies and will make the trip again! Double doozies, cookie cakes, icee drinks, pretzel bites!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. It's my go to everyday I get off work. The Chewy Chocolate Surpreme is my all time favorite cookie and the unsalted pretzel bites are so soft ,yummy and always fresh.
