Lunch with Hibachi Red Snapper and fried Red Snapper appetizer. Absolutely delicious.
I'll be back.
Good service, too. I sat outside on a beautiful fall day.
Reasonably priced
I've just recently gotten into sushi, but my wife loves it. It's great having a solid place for sushi on our side old town ( as opposed to the bland rolls you can get at a buffet) Today we tried the Popeye, Civiche, Tinker, Princess and Noah's Ark rolls. My favorite was the Popeye. Tasty and well prepared. The staff here is great, especially if you're a sushi novice like me. I can just tell them what items I like, and they have great suggestions. I'm sure most people wouldn't think of Pasadena as a good place for sushi, but stop by and you will be pleasantly surprised.
Great find - Huge selection, Quality Ingredients, & Generous Portions. Even have a patron loyalty program - My Sushi (1 point / $ spent) without expiration. Will return when in the area.
Good food, so so service. Too many rolls to choose from -way too many
Little tokyo is with outa doubt the best sushi place in the Houston area. I have been to several places including the Kemah, clear lake, downtown, and several in the galleria area and none compare to this amazing restaurant. They have great salads, soups, entrees and a huge variety of rolls. My favorites of this place are The Toinette roll, the Feather roll, and the Cici roll and many more. Their desserts are to die for as well. If your looking to splurge on your diet try the fried pound cake ice cream with oreos. It is amazing. If your looking for any other information on this restaurant just go to it and see for yourself that its an experience you won't regret.
Try the chief for a good mixture of spice and crunch
This place has good food at a great price!! The food always tastes fresh!! The cheese puffs are a knock out but my all time favorites are the Jill roll and their delicious spring rolls!! Oh yes, and my new favorite.. The feather roll!!! This place has an insane amount of options and are all tasty and unique. Try it!!!!
Love the fact that I can find good Japanese food in Pasadena, but the service is consistantly incredibly inattentive. NEVER EVER go here thinking you want a "quick" lunch. At least the food is good to somewhat make up for the poor service.
I am a big fan of sushi, and this is definitely a great place to go for a yummy meal! The sushi and sashimi is fantastic, and their other entrees are jus as tasty. We ordered sesame chicken that came with salad and miso soup, a tuna roll, and a Docs roll (i think that was the name), and it was all very satisfying. That being said, if you order a sushi roll that has cream cheese in it, ask them to take it easy on the cream cheese.
Our favorite sushi restaurant in Houston. Way better than the "upscale" places in Houston that you pay twice as much for. Fish is high quality and always fresh!
Location is hiding but its worth the stop. Food was amazingly delicious and price is regular on what you pay for sushi. Plenty of different options on the food. Came in with a group of 12 people on a Friday night, awesome service and good food.
Absolutely great! Accommodated us in a private dining area. Just perfect!
The food was delicious. It came out pretty fast. You have a lot to choose from. The only weird thing is that you order and pay at the door, then sit down. Didn't know who to tip because everybody works so well together And always checking on you. Taking my kids there soon. They are going to love it.
Update: took my kids there and was not a disappointment. They enjoyed all the different food we got. Even got a couple of sushi rolls. I can't wait to go back. Wish it was closer to my house.
This place is great. If you like sushi you will love this spot. They have a huge menu, been there a few times but haven't even scratch the surface. They have more than just sushi, but I have not tired any of that yet (plan on trying something next time though). The atmosphere is chill, you can come in flip flops or a suit. Every time I have been here the waiting staff have been cool - I highly recommend this place.
Little Tokyo has been serving high quality sushi for over 17 years.
Our two favorite rolls; Bill's Anniversary and Toinette are still made in the same high regard and are always our go to rolls.
One of the best sushi places in all of Houston. I don't care about fancy this or that I care about good flavor and value...this place has both. A very nice selection of rolls to choose from. The restaurant is small so it'll fill up quick.
Always enjoy this sushi spot, even if it takes awhile for the food. The atmosphere is nice, no loud music so you can actually have conversation. A little cold, always,, bring a sweater. Good things are worth the wait, I suppose. Try the Armand, and the Dynamite Crunchy, 2 of our favorites!
Ive been to a couple of sushi places. But none in the Pasadena area or South-east side where I live. Little Tokyo is just execlent. Friendly staff, clean store, easy parking, wait was not long on a Friday night. My only complaint about this amazing place is that the menus font is way too small. I will be coming back to try out more menu items.
This place sure has changed over the past few years. It is a bit odd to place and pay for your order at the front before being seated, but I can appreciate trying to deal with limited staffing. We still enjoyed our food and it didn't diminish the experience.
I ordered two separate rolls and I got a big plate for them! I ordered Christie roll (the bottom roll in the first pic) and Victoria roll (the top roll in the first pic). I asked them to take off the jalapeño and green onion coz I don’t eat them.😂
I don’t know why the Victoria roll is still spicy without jalapeños. (Spicy from my perspective... I don’t even eat black pepper.)
They have a variety of options you can choose from, including veggie options! (Although I didn’t ask them if it is vegetarian. I assume they are, but it would be safer to check on the teriyaki sauce.)
I tried their mochi ice cream but I forgot to take pictures of them. It comes in a total of three. They can be assorted flavors. We tried red bean, mango, and strawberry. I don’t really like the mango flavor even though mango is one of my favorite fruit. I think it tastes artificial. They can also cut it for you if you are sharing meal.
The waiter is a little inattentive but the food is real nice! (I asked for water without ice and there was still ice in my water!)
