This is a very homemade type of food. It really is Mexican food at its finest. The sopes are the local hit with the cecina. Gorditas are amazing too. I have been coming here since I was a kid and everytime I visit my hometown i will do my best to come to this restaurant highly recommended.

I love this place, the owners are always really polite and the food is amazing, My favorite food is the sopes, chiles rellenos, carne a la tampiqueña + this place if one of the few places that don’t cook their rice in Arriozera they do it the old school way.

(8 yrs ago) Been going there since I was 6 and I'm 21 now. I've always loved their tacos. I try to go there with my family when we get a chance since we live in PA. It's worth the trip for me when I'm in NJ. I'm sure there are other restaurants out there but this small place is very family oriented and provides great service. Update: looks like it's temporarily closed 😭 keep checking back i guess.
