Picada Pequena Y Mofongo Regular. Fresh and amazing! Delicious
Love, love, love this place. They make you feel like family is not. Your tipical Dominican Restaurant with really loud and disturbing music. The owner's daughter Marianna is very helpful and knowledgeable and very kind. My friend and I are planning a bridal shower at this place and she took her time to sit with us and even gave us brilliant ideas for the event. Im a definitely going back. the food is also delicious. Thank you Purita for also taking the time to talk to us.
I love this place, the food is delicious. It's Dominican cuisine and it is great. There is music and dancing on the weekends but I love going on Sundays because it's karaoke nights (closes at 2 am). 🎤 It's family friendly but after 10 pm it's more of an older crowd gathering. All in all it's a great place to go to if you're looking for good Spanish food. The prices are moderate but worth it.
Delicious clean food!!! Fast service... Highly recommended. 2 weekends in a roll!!
Great Dominican food, live music. Great atmosphere
Went here with my family and had a great time! Amazing service, and even more amazing food! My family really enjoyed it clean environment and very nostalgic! Had the Owner even come up to our table and ask how everything was and let us know this is our home away from home! Great experience.
Great tasting Dominican food, in a very Dominican atmosphere with friendly service.
Good to see that the owner herself, Purita, is serving customers.
If you want a real Dominican experience in SoFla, stop by Purita's.
Muy rico, great food. Delicious. We had the casava empanadas, “catibia de yuca” the mojito, long island was amazing, and the mofongo with beef skirt and chicken chunks “ churrasco and chicharrones de pollo” was great
Delicious dominican food, every bite had a lot flavor, lovely presentation and very tasty dishes. The restaurant decoration is very unique but the overall atmosphere is exorbitant.
We ordered two Mofongos. One with pork and the other one with shrimp on the side. The Mofongo presentation was great and the flavor was excellent. The meat was tender and the cheese was melted. The picada was phenomenal and the two Passionfruit juices were refreshing. The total with tip was ($98)
We asked for the deserts and there were only two choices. We got the batata coconut and even thought we didn't like it, or eat it we still got charged for it.
Unfortunately the expensive price of our delicious meal doesn't compensate the average customer service. We hope they take a look into improving the service!
Good authentic Dominican cuisine, friendly service, and casual atmosphere with lively music.... Slightly more expensive/over priced, but they do have some well priced options... also were out/ did not have any batidos/milkshakes as listed on the menu. The chicharron de pollo and Mangu were very tasty!!!
Food is good must tried chicharrón de pollo everything was fresh.. Gratuity is included.

We have visited this location in the past (night time) so today was the first time we were able to enjoy the day atmosphere to our delight. The restaurant was clean with just a few guests enjoying their meal.Overall the music, the food, the local were a good time! here's our pros and cons as usual:
+VERY polite and attentive waitresses
+Food was delicious and beautifully presented
+Almost no wait time for our food to come (it will depend on what you order of course)
+ Menu has a great selection of Dominican/Latin food
+Great selection of Dominican Desserts (get your second stomach ready)
+Clean Location
+Fair pricing
++++THEY HAD HABICHUELAS CON DULCE (if you're Dominican, you know...you know...)
+- Place gets busy at peak times and nights, schedule yourself accordingly.
+- Due location, parking is limited
-No cons, we had loved all out visits to this restaurant.
In short, Purita's Restaurant is a great time. From the very attentive employees to the delicious food, we can't recommend enough this very Dominican delightful experience.
