Very nice and plenty of steak!!!! You have to stop if you are hungry!!! Sit in Terri's section she makes it all worth it
For the price the food wasn’t that great. But our server was really nice thought! He kept the table clean of any unused plates and kept the drinks filled. The dessert was really good as well!
Shockingly clean. The food is good but some things like the meat loaf are a little salty. Nice selection including fresh salad options. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks refilled. We will return when we are in Pigeon Forge.
Great place when you have a group because everyone can find something they like. I had pulled pork, catfish, hush puppies, corn and mash potatoes and really liked everything. I was planning to get a little steak but the pulled pork was so good I just got a little more of it. I also got a little banana pudding and some ice cream with hot fudge as dessert. My husband enjoys far more variety than I do so he certainly enjoyed his dinner.
Dinner price on a Friday was $18.49 I think but certainly worth it for the variety and convenience.
The main reason we chose the Golden Corral was because we wanted a good salad and veggies without the overpriced restaurants there in the area the previous days. We were not wanting to wait up to an hour to be seated like you do in the other restaurants in PF or Gatlinburg.
There were decent choices on the salad bar but wish there had been a little more. The food choices on the entrees were just okay compared to the price that was charged per person. I also think the food comes from cans or is previously frozen.
The service was good, our glasses were never empty and our waiter was very nice.
Overall it's a good place to grab a quick meal but it's not cheap and the food is just okay.
The Pigeon Forge location is our go to spot for breakfast buffet on the morning that we leave to head home. We have made this a tradition for the past 10+ years. Great atmosphere and the servers, cashiers, etc. work so hard to make sure you have what you need. Stop by and give them a chance to fill your bellies with their all you can eat breakfast buffet.
Our experience was wonderful here. When were first went in to pay the manager said if just wait a few more minutes it will be one o'clock and your meal will be discounted even more because from 1 to 3 seniors get a special price. The food taste and presentation was all good. Our server steve was very polite and kind. All the other servers and cooks were polite. Manager John you congratulations on your management skills the employees all seemed happy to work there..and I saw you helping out in every area as needed. For your money this is a great value. Also bathroom were clean.
The food was very good and we were able to get there before the big rush. We did not have to wait for anything or anybody. Our table server was very polite and helped us with everything that we needed. This was one of the best dining experiences that we have had at the Golden Corral!
We had fun here. Nice buffet with comfort food options. HOWEVER, be prepared for the times you choose to attend. This is very popular with the elderly it seems and if you go at the main breaky, lunch, or dinner times you may find it VERY busy. We were there at a busy time and it was still enjoyable. Just be prepared to take a little time waiting to serve yourself. Is it worth it? I'd say yes. It was reasonably priced and we didn't wait long to be seated.
Andy greeted us in the front line today and was surprisingly chipper and welcoming. Immediately I felt at home being from out of town. Destiny was a superb server waiting attentively to meet every need with a warm not just courteous, but super friendly smile and joked with us when she passed by! I am so glad we passed all the other restaurants for this familiar franchise this Sunday morning away from home!
