Fabulous tacos, tremendous value, especially on taco Tuesday (all tacos are $3), nice simple menu, great atmosphere, and our server MIKE was terrific! We were quoted a 30 minute wait for a table and only waited 10 minutes. I had the pollo, shrimp, and fish tacos. The chips and guac/salsa appetizer was one of the best I've had. Looking forward to returning!
We had a party of 13 celebrating our daughters engagement. We made a reservation about a week beforehand, and the restaurant was so very helpful! We asked to just be in a corner somewhere as to not disturb anyone else’s dining experience, and they set us up in a private nook that was absolutely perfect! Great food, great drinks, wonderful celebration!
Came for a quick dinner and drinks before a concert. The food was okay. Tacos and taquitos were good, but the roasted cauliflower was cold and had an odd taste. Service was good and the atmosphere is fun.
On a volleyball tournament weekend my daughter and I had dinner with some of her teammates here and there were couple of good thing about this place:
1) It's one of the few restaurants out there that have large booths for about 10 people (or even larger parties)
2) They were able to switch my reservation from 4 people originally to 9 people in a quick, easy way, so that goes to great service.
3) Food was good for the most part, try the Quesos as appetizers for sure, as they were the highlight of the night. Same goes for the Guacamole and Salsas Trio.
Now on the negative side, unfortunately the tortillas in my tacos were cold when I got them, as if they came straight from the fridge (and I didn't have the time for sending the order back), otherwise I would have given this place 5 stars.
I'll come back with no doubt anyway and give those tacos another try.
My husband was so disappointed he said he'll never be back. The salsa and chips were the biggest disappointment to me. The salsa was so watery you couldn't get it to stay on the chip. Also the chips were cold, thick, and stale. Honestly, it made me wish I was at Chili's. My husband was extremely disappointed with the tacos. They were about 3 inches in diameter and they contained marinated meat with one topping, in general (we tried three different ones). Just a real lack of effort here. Personally, I would go back because we had a better experience with service here than with three other nearby places we visited on Penn Ave that evening.
Tacos were great - hongos, pollo Verde, pollo Rojo. Trio dip and chips nice snack options. Cauliflower were not nicely roasted so we ended up not finishing the dish. Draft beers are great and so is the wine collection. Great atmosphere.
These brave people took in and fed the Central Maine Community College Women's and Men's Soccer Teams all at once. Service was helpful, fast, and the food was delicious.
Excellent tacos. You’re going to want more than one, they’re not huge.
And if you’re with a group and order lots of tacos, they deliver them on a platter, so it can be a little confusing with who’s is who’s.
They play great music in the background and good vibes in there
I stopped here earlier today for a quick lunch. My biggest takeaways were the pineapple margaritas and the fresh made guacamole! Both were recommended by our server Jen! The restrooms were clean and the restaurant ambiance was very comforting. Customer service is hard to come by nowadays I wanted to recommend Jen because not only was she attentive but she was very friendly and personable. Would definitely come back to this establishment!
I had my first experience there and I must say all was good. Friendly bartenders and good food. The only gripe, and actually something that might keep me away when I'm in a tequila mood, is that they don't have the best tequila out there. With all the tequilas they have, they are missing El Tesoro. I ended up not getting tequila that night. Everything else was great.
