The food here is always amazing, but I had never stopped for brunch before. The choices were outstanding. I would definitely put this at the top of the list for brunch.
Hadn't been in awhile, but when we sat down, our server remembered I love Belgian beer and immediately suggested the Corsendonk Blonde : ) Grist House and Hop Farm on tap; always a nicely-curated bottle list including larger ones to share; yummy Bruges Salad with portobello (substituting the champagne vinaigrette for my sweet tooth); groom's burger was juicy-plump; and the bourbon honey dressing on his salad was dynamite. Table, banquette, booth, bar, and seasonal outdoor seating. Friendly, lively, fun.
This post is a little late. OK, a lot late considering we were at Park Bruges in early July. So 3 months ago. It's still one of our favorite places but I was sad because my favorite entree, Sauteed Chicken Breast with onions, tomatoes, artichokes, mushrooms, herb risotto, marsala sauce, was no longer on the menu.
Every meal I've had here is delicious. The brunch is amazing. One of my favorite places. The bacon is delicious, the brunch specials are different each time. Really unique place. I've taken guests from out of town (DC) and they loved it-
Nice restaurant. Good food but not great. Eggs Benedict warm not hot. Sauce not lemony. Pointain interesting. OK place nice people and ambiance.
The salmon was very good and tender, it easily cut just using my fork. The bottom was crispy with a mix of herbs on it which I really enjoyed rather than getting the usual gooey wet bottom like how many restaurants serve it. The prices were a bit steep but it was worth it for the quality your served. The atmosphere is also very nice, you can eat inside or out and there is plenty of seating.
My wife took me here last night for my birthday. It was a surprise, the only description I got was that they have everything you love to eat...and she was right. I ordered the mussels with chorizo sausage and poutine for appetizers and my wife got the tartee with tomatoes. All of it was excellent - mussles were done perfectly, poutine was close to authentic Canadian, and the tomatoes were super fresh. For dinner I had the brugges burger and my wife had the pesto pasta. Quite possibly one of my favorite burgers in PGH. Wife loved the pasta. Also had a (mostly Belgian) beer list that was on point, draft choices seemed underwhelming. The interior seemed rather cold and plain, not really what we expected. However if the food is good and the place packed, why change anything.

Great Find! After reserving a table at a restaurant a few doors down, and leaving because the bartender was an a$$, my wife and I walked down to Park Bruges and felt that this restaurant was more our style. We met another couple there, and sat at the bar and was taken care of by Ryan Who was extremely knowledgeable about the beer and wine. The beer list was extensive and very satisfying to look at. We ordered a couple of appetizers at the bar.
We had the mussels in the Spanish Romesco sauce, and the bruschetta. The mussels were huge, and the flavor was outstanding. The bruschetta did not disappoint.
After waiting about an hour at the bar, we sat down at a booth near the back of the restaurant. The restaurant was busy but not overly noisy. Although the service was not what I would consider outstanding, it was adequate and never had to search for our server.
My wife had the Bay of Fundy salmon, and I had the short rib pasta. Both were full of flavor and the portions were big. Our friends had the pork chop and the short rib pasta as well. No complaints from either of them. Since it was our wives' birthdays, they provided us with complementary desserts for their birthdays. Both were excellent!

After passing this place multiple times, we finally decided to go for Sunday brunch. We thought our selections were fantastic! At the table, we enjoyed Crabcake eggs Benedict which was wonderful. French toast with a walnut cream cheese delicious. Also, a hot sausage and egg sandwich(spicy). The bloody Mary's were fantastic. Definitely can't wait to go back. Great foodie experience!
Awesome Brunch. We have only eaten brunch here, but that alone was great. The stuffed french toast is mouth watering. I also recommend the Prix Fixe Brunch as there is no better way to start a day than with a mimosa. The neighborhood is cute and it is a perfect stop before the zoo.
Nice Lunch Stop. We split the moules, which were plump and in a nice cream broth that was fun to soak up with the baguette. A small plate of the Southern Style Crabcakes that had some greens and a lemon pepper aioli where well prepared and very good. Poutine, Yum!
Awsome brunch. One of my favorite Pgh brunch spots. Always delicious and fresh. Had the omelet special last time, chile relleno omelet, it was fantastic. And the poutine is hard to refuse. Also, try the crab beignets for an appetizer, so good. The bartender/server on the weekends is super friendly and always makes a good reccommendation. Also good beer selections and jazz events. Keep up the good work!
We visited this restaurant before heading over to the zoo for their lantern festival. Let me tell you this meal was one of the BEST meals I have ever had. Every one working was so nice and attentive. The food and drink options are great! Highly recommend taking someone on a date here or if friends/family are visiting bring them. It is so worth it!
We visited Park Bruges on Tuesday, 9-6-23 for lunch. Very nice relaxed atmosphere, service was friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. There were 3 in our group and we ordered:
Fleming onion soup
Roasted Corn & Spinach salad
Salmon w/carrot risotto
Philly herbPork sandwich with roasted red pepper jam.
Everything was outstanding!
This restaurant is always good and consistent.
We order the Moules Frites with Classic White Wine sauce to share and it was delicious! I paired it with very good Fat Head's draft IPA. We were offered desserts and we tried the one in the picture. It had a waffle, banana ice cream, and caramel sauce. It was a sweet way to end this wonderful dining experience!
Very attentive service, nice ambiance, interesting location, and more than appropriate prices.

We enjoyed ourselves supremely at Park Bruges last night: the pulled pork poutine and the maple bourbon glazed salmon vying with one another for best dishes we've eaten since moving to Pittsburgh; the service made poetic by servers who take their service so very much to heart; the ambiance that of a neighborhood place - a great, good place where meeting one another & talking vie with great food & drink. Yep, we've found a home at Park Bruges - a place where friendliness holds the menu for us while we enjoy ourselves selecting dish after delectable dish...
One of favorite places in Pitt! Whenever we visit Pittsburgh, we go to park bruges! It was good as usual!

Wow just had an absolutely magical lunch with friends! I had the poutine with pork shoulder and BBQ sauce. Absolutely outstanding in every way. The meat was so tender, the fries were crispy perfection and the saucy was sweet and spicy. (Pro tip: with poutine, get the sauce/gravy on the side of possible so it doesn't make the fries soft.) Bravo Park Bruges!

Excellent iced tea btw. If you don't know what it means when people say a tea is bright, this is exactly what they mean.
Best burger and fries I've had in pittsburgh. It was pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
Looking for the best fries in the city. Well here we call them frites and theyre dipped in either aioli or moles (musscels). Trust me it’s worth it.
Very nice neighborhood and a nice Cafe. A different menu from most neighborhood places. We really enjoyed the charcuterie. The service was fast and friendly.
love this place so much, it's the best plate I've had in an exceptionally long time. Am in Pittsburgh currently and planning to revisit again next week!
