I’d ordered to-go from here before and been very happy, so I was looking forward to coming in again. It’s nice to have something a little more upscale than Qdoba in town (though don’t get me wrong, I love a good burrito bowl.) My server recommended the Diego Rivera margarita, and it was the perfect blend of sour and sweet with just a mild bitter flavor for balance— very delicious! I ordered the carne asada fajita. The tortillas were a little thick for my personal taste, but very fresh and flavorful. The cilantro rice is delicious, too, and service was friendly and reasonably quick. I saw some people mentioning that they disliked not getting a mountain of chips before their meal, but why would I waste stomach space when the food is so delicious when it arrives? I also enjoyed hearing the servers talk to each other in Spanish— it reminded me of growing up in Southern California. I’ll definitely stop by again.
I was blown away with surprised to find a mexican kitchen and tequila bar with delicious mexican food with the most flavorful margarita and the best latin music hits. Thanks to our fantastic server Fernando Peña who made us feel like family.
Drinks were good, beer selection had some unique ones on it. We had the yucca fries for an appetizer. Delicious and very generous portion! We ordered the barbacoa tacos and the lamb tacos. Both were excellent! Overall a refreshing atmosphere and delicious food. Would highly recommend.
