We were there Sunday, April 30th for a late lunch. It was packed...a good sign. Finally found a waitress that said we could sit upstairs! There were 6 of us...2 67 year old grandma's, our married children & their two daughters 13 & 8. We all loved our food! SIL had ribs & tots, His Mom had pork sliders & sweet potato fries, my Daughter had a regular cheese burger and fries, 13 yr. old had burger sliders & curly fries, 8 yr. old had chicken thumbs & curly fries and I had a burger & sweet potato fries....we all LOVED our food! The portions were generous! Not only was the food good, but our waitress was amazing! She made quite a few trips up & down those stairs, and she was never annoyed or upset if we asked for extra drinks! ~ PS, try the sweet potato fries...YUMMMMM!
I'm from out of town and come to Pittsburgh a few times a year to visit. Years ago we stumbled across Mario's looking for a place to watch the football games. Now, I always make a point to stop by and eat, drink, and watch sports. Never had bad food or service.
You know exactly what you’re getting into when you come here. Crowd is pretty young. There is enough space to spread out. Love all the levels in this bar. $14 for a margarita w/ espolon and a rum and coke is a great deal.
Staff was incredibly! John and Hanna made my birthday. I’d come back just for them. The food was really good too
Bar staff are legendary, atmosphere is very chilled, highly recommend dropping in for a beer, especially if like me, you're a little lost brit in America, they'll make sure you're well looked after.

I left 2 stars about 10 years ago and I don't remember why. I was here 5 years ago and met my wife on the third floor. We now have 2 kids together so I felt I should upgrade to 5 stars.
Didn't know this spot turns into a night club full of Beautiful woman and Great Bartenders Tons of space and a lot of variety when it comes to great people of Pittsburgh

Marios is a Southside staple with great food and friendly staff. My biggest gripe with the place is no mirrors in the bathroom and gets way to packed on the weekends.
Great local bar in the Southside of Pittsburgh!!! Food is mediocre in my opinion but drinks are always good, staff is always on point and friendly and you always run into good company.
A staple in south side! Great atmosphere. The food is pretty good too. The bartenders are friendly and proved good service. They recently renovated and it made a huge impact on space for them even with the plentiful of three stories. Gets packed on the weekends but is always a good time !
