This place is amazing great ownership, and for the Jam on Walnut best food and drink on the street. Please stop down you will love it.
Cappy's is a great little bar with a perfect atmosphere.
Cool. I live close, so it's always a stop for a decent sub and beer. It's good bar food and quick service. crowd always seems different. No, it's not the higher end of other places on Walnut, but that's a good thing
Looked like some great deals for a neighborhood bar. Pub trivia and some great thursday deals means I'll be back.
Nothing special, but fun. If you're looking for strong drinks and fast service, i'd go someplace else. however, the food is solid, the staff is so friendly, and sitting outside on a warm night on walnut is always nice, so there are definitely pros to cappy's.

Great down to earth hole in the wall in what can be a pretentious neighborhood. Glad I stumbled upon it. Food was good enough. Drink prices were great and the staff and atmosphere were too.
Great value. This place has great food for a low price. It's a great option if you're looking for food on a budget while in this generally more expensive location.
Cappy's is the BEST Value in Shadyside. Cappy's has a great menu with affordable quality food. I love the wraps and the philly chicken hoagie. They also have a great beer selection ( you may be surprised ). Trivia night on wednesdays is awesome also...definitely a fun and lively place worth a look...
I am new to Pittsburgh, and this is a great neighborhood bar. The staff is attentive, positive, and even more importantly welcoming to all patrons. Every patron feels as if they brought sexy back. Greg was attentive to the bars want of watching team USA win in football.
Favorite place in Shadyside — scratch that, my favorite place in Pittsburgh. Bartenders are unbeatable, beer selection is 🤌, food is insane. Wish I could leave more stars
We’re from out of town and we wondered in to the cafe. Everyone was very nice and helpful, they all made us feel like we were part of the crowd! Rob was an excellent bartender and very outgoing and super nice!

Fresh eats. Made when you order. Varied items, never didn't like anything gotten there. Friendly wait staff, prompt service. Great location. Worth the trip just for Cappy's.
Lunch or lite dinner. Take the wife, {or g/f} out guys.

Sitting outside on a glorious evening, sharing a tasty burger and an ice-cold beer and watching people walking by, was a perfect Friday night wind down.
Really good food for a bar. My entire party was very happy with their food. Beer was good and our waitress was nice
