Everything was good and delicious. Doughty is homemade like, every day fresh. They will do whatever you wish on your order. They use good ingredients,not cheap, as I know by my experience.
This place is has the best calzone, I think, I have ever eaten. The pizza was wonderful too. Clearly, they make their dough fresh daily and really take pride in high quality ingredients and the actual way the food is put together. I'm so sad because I live in Austin, Texas and there is no pizza here that even comes close to Mia. I'll dream about those calzones till I'm in Pittsburgh again!
Ordered a pizza and was really pleased. Food was delivered quickly and tasted great. I'm an out of towner so I've only had one experience but I would definitely order from them again.
Pizza here tastes good and has a good portion. This place deserves better rating.

The Italian hoagie we ordered tasted good. Even though the call takers are somewhat rough on the edges, I recommend calling in a pickup order, due to the small area where you can place an order and a counter that is setup high from the floor in the restaurant . Beware of finding a parking spot.

Mia is my favorite pizza place in the area, and if you see how many pizza places I've reviewed, that says something.
1. Quality of the pizza is great. The sauce has a robust savory flavor to it, and all ingredients taste like quality fresh ingredients.
2. You can tell they really care for the customer. I used to love that they gave the premade garlic sauce cups with the pizzas, and after they switched to ranch, I thought i'd throw a comment into my order asking if there was any way I could sub ranch for garlic sauce. Not only did they do it, but it wasn't even the premade stuff. They made their own garlic sauce and added it for no charge. Those are the kind of gestures that always put Mia at the top of my list.
3. Delivery times, I can't really comment on. I live in what I can only assume is the edge of their delivery range, and frequently order at times when Pittsburgh bridge traffic is horrible. So while they're often 10 minutes later than the "estimated time," that estimate is probably being made by a computer program that wasn't coded for Pittsburgh.
4. Prices are competitive. You're not going to see that sticker shock when the deal goes away one day and suddenly it's 18-20 bucks subtotal for a large 1 topping.
5. Probably the only thing I would like to see changed at Mia is carrying Coca Cola. I know most pizza joints these days go with Pepsi products so they can have the Dew, but there are some trend setters around (like Pellegrino's) that carry both, and I love them for that.
We ordered gyros and french fries. Because our order was over $25 we also got free breadsticks. Everything was amazing down to the service. Portion sizes versus price were great. By far one of the best gyros I have had locally. I will definitely be a long-term customer.
Do not believe any of the one star ratings. These people care deeply about the product they put out and their customers. This is one of the best local gyro places you could ever find. Nico's puts about 20% of the meat that Mia's gives you. The cheese fries stayed crisp for an hour. I cannot wait to try the pizza and pasta this weekend. I DON'T BELIEVE ANY ONE STARS. THERE IS NO CHANCE THAT THIS PLACE COULD EVER SERVE BAD FOOD. Service and food was impeccable.
Out of towners staying at a hotel. Hotel gave us the menu for Mia's. I placed a rather large order for 5 families. Gentleman who took our order on the phone was pleasant and accommodating, did not flinch at such a large order. He repeated it back to me in order, word for word, all correct. Delivery called me when he was 2 minutes away and we met him at registration desk. He was pleasant. Carried order to our party room. Showed me a receipt. Everything arrived as we ordered and then some. Excellent service for such a large order. Only mishap was we didn't get the right dressing for salad. Even the receipt showed the dressing we wanted. But the food was great! Wings were really good.
Always fresh pizza for every taste, quickly and Delicious!!!
