I go here when I am starving, and got a real bad case of sea-food craving!
Love their shrimps, mussels and shortbread cakes.. huge spread, nice decor and spacious seating. Great place to gorge upon some tasty food.
My only request, if it's a veggie lomein or fried rice, don't add egg... makes the actual vegetarians feel real bad.
I know I know, I'm reviewing a Chinese Buffet how different can they be right?
Well...yeah you're right. So far as food this place is pretty much on par with the rest that are out there. This isn't to say the food is bad though.....it's just buffet food is all, nothing amazing mainly salty, fried, and meaty.
Some factors which aren't always the same across the board is why I'm even bothering to write this.
Most buffet's just give you a drink and the rest is up to you. This buffet actually had some service. The hostess was extremely pleasant, the waiter was attentive and my plates were taken away almost as soon as I was finished. The waiter explained that if there were any buffet items that weren't fresh he would be happy to tell the the kitchen and even bring it fresh to my table.
Great Wall Super Buffet was clean, easy to get to, easy to park, and had quick great service.
I don't always go to Chinese buffets and you may not either but if you do I'd recommend this one.
We're so happy to find this gem in Plano. For less than $12, they offer a large selection of crowd-pleasing Chinese dishes. The food is delicious. The restaurant is clean and staff are super friendly:) We would definitely be back! Highly recommended for those looking for great Asian buffet in the heart of Plano at a bargain price.
