Great local dive. Menudo has to be awesome. People bring there own vats to have filled up. Breads, cakes, etc. Traditional eggs & bacon with cakes available. The coffee is great. Friendly staff is attentive to all your needs. You have to give this a chance.
This is my favorite place to eat or take friends to try Mexican food. They have a large menu with many options. It will take you more time to find something you would not like there than like. Not only is the food great, but they have a large selection of pan dulces. Highly recommend.
Can't beat El Merendero for Taco Tuesday. My family likes the hard shell chicken tacos; we get a dozen for less than 20 dollars! We recommend the Tamales and the rest of the menu too.

I adore this place a lot. there is a very special spirit. The meals are very tasty. the service is dynamic and the stuff is very professional. The pay is reasonable. deeply recommend.
