I never ate here before but I was in the mood for Chowmien so I decided to give it a try. The first time was great! Loved the Chowmien and beef. But the more and more I bought the same dish, I noticed how oily the noodles were. A little too much! The whole bag would be drenched in oil underneath. I'm going to see if they can use less oil and see if that does the trick. The flavor was delicious minus the excess oil.
This is my spot for Chinese cuisine! 😙👌🏼 Everything's delicious! but my go to is the HOUSE CHOW MEIN . 💖🍲 I see a few comments mention the neighborhood, yeah it's a little run down outside but all the best spots are hidden gems, like that. Don't worry about the inside, it's super nice inside.
This is certainly a hidden gem in Pomona. I must say that it's not at a fabulous neighborhood in Pomona so you might feel a bit lost driving here. Once you turn North of Holt, it's a much comfortable area. When you enter the restaurant, it's a jaw-dropping experience of luxury and atmosphere. Fresh flowers, nicely attired guests, brand-new luxury leather seating, designer's lighting; pretty much everything you could expect from a up scale restaurant. Staff is super friendly. Food is fresh and authentic. I personally LOVE their stir fried veggie dishes but kids love the pork chop. They also have a super nice party room at the back. Flan desert is a must have.
Solid Chinese restaurant. Nothing out of the ordinary but good at what they do. Comida China estila Mexicali, wich basically means they have jalapeños in some of there dishes. Fun fact- Mexicali boasts the largest number of chinese restaurants of any other Mexican city. Who knew?
They do a very respectable kung pao. I also enjoy the chow fun, chow mein and the chop suey is a good choice as well. The fried rice options are plentiful and tasty.
One of the better restaurants in the area and fairly priced.

The food here is always delicious, I never have had a bad meal at this place. Mexicali style? Not quite but close enough 😉
