We tried Pompano Pizza for the first time and were pleasantly surprised at how good the thick crust pizza was. We have been in Florida since November and have been looking for a good pizza. We have had a few good pizzas but nothing special. The Argentinian pizza was THE PIZZA that we have been looking for. It was thick crust but was light and airy. The sauce was perfect and all in all, this pizza was a ten in my book!
Great service, the waitress is always nice to my son and I. The food is always on point. Worth every cent.
Pizza here was very good. Garlic bread was amazing. Service was not good. The waitress was really rude at first and when I called her out she was super nice and super helpful. I would say try this place for sure but be prepared for rude staff and great food.
I agree totally with the last reviewer previous owner much friendlier. I live in North Miami and travel to Pompano for the argentinian pizza particularly the "owners special". Been going there since I was 5 that was more than 20 years ago. Pizza is excellent!
Pizza as it should be. Usually I take it home, last night stop by and sit at a table there and have it from the oven direct to our table, astounding, no doubt it is the best Pizza, very friendly staff, and my kids love to watch the pizza maker flying the dough.
Food And pizza it's excelent especialy the argentinian style pizza, too bad the new owners are not as friendly as the previous one, can you people smile sometimes and not have such a bitter face???

My table experience was excellent. The rustic pizzeria feel and the service was great (sandwich came out slow but quality was so high, I forgot after two bites).
I got their fabulous wings again but mixed it up with a crispy eggplant parm sub WITH ham. This sammy needs to be tried - see pic.

PP was a HUGE surprise. Turned off by a local competitor who has the stones to add 9 dollars to all delivery orders (in house, not doordash), I bit the bullet and walked to PP. Iam so glad I did. For 11.00 less, I got the same food PLUS 5 extra wings.
Cheesesteak - very meaty, full of flavor, no hidden fees for basics like mayo and onions.
(The roll is a little doughy and soft - they go crusty - watch out!)
Wings - big, plump and the sauce was very tasty. In this economy, I was thrilled with quantity and quality for the money. I didn't try the pizza - DO try the wings and steaks. The decor is also heavy Italian-fun.
Needed Food while at the pool at our condo and was told these guys were good; THEY WERE! Ordered the large meatlovers pie, empanadas and salad, it all tasted fresh and AWESOME! Pizza had plenty of meat (see photos) and the empanadas had nice flavor. Delivery was quick as promised, asked for plates and napkins, they brought that as well..highly recommed, will surely be using them again when in the area!
Good food and pizza, great service! Despite having two very excited 10 year old boys, the staff was happy to have us and helpful. Even other customers were not bothered by presence of kids. Pizza portions were great, food was fresh. Everyone left happy and wanted more!

Pompano pizza makes one of the best pizzas in Florida. They prepared it in an Argentinian style.
The beef empanadas are big and delicious.
We recommend the Canadian and the French Roquefort. They have faina too!

This was our first time here. Sadly, the one day I chose to finally try this place they didn't have the oil for the chicken parm :( Also, during the day they don't have servers which is fine. We ordered at the front, and they brought it to the table.. but my uncle ordered water.. and it was never brought so we had to ask for it a little while after receiving the food. I ordered a canned sprite, so I just grabbed it from the fridge.
I started with Italian wedding soup. It was good!
For my lunch I got pasta in oil/garlic with broccoli and grilled chicken.
It was ok. I had to add pepper and salt. The chicken had good flavor!
I know most people say well you got oil and garlic that is very bland but not true. You can add great herbs to make garlic and oil yummy! So, the pasta alone was just eh. I am glad I chose to add broccoli and Chicken.
My uncle got a slice of pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad. He said the pizza was his new favorite! He liked it better than our usual Italian spot!
He enjoyed the salad, but has had better dressing but still a good Caesar salad!
I would definitely go back to try the chicken parm! :)
Just ordered a veggie pizza, pepperoni pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. It came with salad and garlic rolls. The food is excellent. My father-in-law loved this place for 30 years plus.

Went in during my lunch break, loved the pizza and the service! Wasn't a huge fan of their wings or bleu cheese dip, but I will definitely return for the pizza. I was in and out in under 40 minutes. My favorite part? Small personal pizza, wings, soda... All for $20
