Truly delightful! Everything we ordered was beautifully cooked and so flavorful. I would highly recommend the espresso with sweetened condensed milk - such a tasty treat! Also had some good gluten free options.
Brought some friends to this beautiful eatery in NE Portland for brunch. They had a nice collection of drinks and coffees.
Food on the menu is also great! We ordered a few different things to share and portions are generous enough to share among 4 people.
Dessert must not be missed. Loved our choices especially the Cuban cigar.
Will definitely be going back to try other items on their menu.
My second time coming here but this time I brought my bf and my friend who was visiting from out of town.
Everything was really good, flavorful, and not at all heavy. It was enough to curb our appetite without making us feel like we are in a food coma.
Cocktails were very refreshing. We ordered the traditional Cuban sandwich and the cheesesteak sandwich. Wow each bite was worth it, and paired with their homemade sauce made it even better.
Also ended with their Cuban cigar dessert.
Highly recommend! They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Service was quick and attentive. We will be back.
Very few vegan/vegetarian options. So we ordered whatever was available in vegetarian. We ordered Plato communista and pambiche bowl as entrees and espinaca con queso in Empanadas. Tried hibiscus ginger ale, which was very unique and nice. The highlight was the empanada, but overall the food was very unique and nice. Service was really quick.
The food is really good but we missed the bright colors of the old Pambiche. We also would like tostones back on the menu.
The Cuban Philly cheesesteak had great Cuban flavors while being a cheese steak. The empanadas were both fresh and hot.
Delicious Cuban food, we also had several cocktails and they were all fantastic. The maduros and yucca appetizers were perfect. Their black beans is one of the best I've ever had. We will come back soon! Their new patio is beautiful and super cozy also the new decor inside. I love the new look!
Everything we had was excellent. The cassava appetizer is delicious. Lime & coconut cake and cigar are standout desserts. The coleslaw is acidic and full of flavor. Habanero cocktail is spicy. Avocado salad is acidic and balanced. There is a yellow salsa that comes in a glass bottle and the flavor and smell are delicious on rice and meat. Wait staff is friendly and has great recommendations. Great atmosphere, laid back and friendly.
Mouth-wateringly delicious Cuban food. We drove all the way from Seattle to eat here!
Absolutely amazing restaurant in Portland's North.
We had never had Cuban food so were really excited to try it.
The service was fast and friendly.
We tried the empanada's, tamales, as well as the chicken.
The dishes were really tasty and the serves were generous.
Provided were two sauces, I only tried the yellow one and it added a nice slow zing to the meal.
Mid meal a lady from Miami sat next to us and she was telling us this was "the real deal" when it came to Cuban food.
Finished with the Guava cheese cake. Absolutely excepetional.
Prices were fair and the food was great. Highly recommended from a very happy Australian visitor.
PS The front windows when we arrived were covered in brown paper - don't be decieved, they were absolutely open for business!
It's been a long time since I ate here and now I wonder why it's been so long! It is delicious. We tried almost all the desserts and several entrées. The empanada is a must try. There's several flavors to choose from. The coleslaw is more like a salad and it's really good!
