Trifecta Tavern Portland is one of those places I will gladly spend my hard earned dollars. It is located at 726 SE 6th Ave in PDX’s budding Southeast Industrial District. The restaurant is low-lit with a modern interior of marble, wood and open wood fire oven and grill. The smell of fresh baked bread and pizzas and the sound of fun cocktails at the bar is inviting enough.
What a a gorgeous spacious restaurant with menu options for all. The smells coming from the wood fired oven and grill are so inviting. The bartender is producing fun cocktails from the open bar. The vegetarian dishes we shared were exceptionally good. The fried cauliflower with smoked farro, pickled cherries and radicchio was my favorite although the curried chickpeas with a grilled avocado and flat bread was also amazing. Our entrees razor clams and halibut with green garlic mash potatoes were also tasty. The deserts were irresistible. We shared the Salted Carmel Tart and Baba Au Rhum which our server described as a "boozy Twinkie". Our server was enjoyable and efficient. This restaurant catapulted into a new favorite. I will definitely go back.
Four of us had dinner at Trifecta Tavern, so we got to taste a wide variety of their dishes. All of us loved the food! Yum! The service was great, too. The prices are reasonable for this type of upscale food. It was pretty noisy, but a real winner other than that.
The Cauliflower from Trifecta is a must get item...I might not rush out every time a new restaurant opens, but you can be sure to know that it’s probably on my list (my list is at 113 right now) and I will eventually make it there. That is the case behind Trifecta.
Working out the kinks. Potential to be great, but still working out all the kinks.
Pros:
Awesome cocktails
The best house-made butter of your LIFE
Bread bread bread bread bread
Lots of small plates to share
Booths galore, A+ for atmosphere
Three words: Brioche oyster bun
Cons:
I kept reading about the complimentary bread, but we didn't get any! We had to specially request it.
Kale salad has potential to be great, but topped with loads of cheese. I could eat cheese on anything, but it does not belong on the harissa kale salad.
Deviled eggs were creative and interesting SOUNDING but didn't deliver.
I would go back again in a few months when the kitchen really has everything down solid.

Ken's Artisan Bakery has been around for just over twelve years. Ken's Artisan Pizza has been packed night after night for more than seven years. Now there's number three, Trifecta Tavern and Bakery. It's been open for just over two weeks. It doesn't have Ken's in the name, but you'll know it when you get there. It's nearly impossible to not notice. It's also very difficult to leave without a loaf of bread or a croissant. Or both. Trifecta doesn't offer happy hour but they do have a bar menu (or what they call a limited menu) available starting at four. The regular dinner menu isn't available until five, and as this place starts to pick up (which it will, to the point where there will be a line out front) we suggest you stop in early for a few nibbles before ordering your main course. It might make for an early start, but we think it'll be worth it.
Had a quick stop by for morning pastries. Personally this shop is the most epic bakery thruout the whole worlds or at least in the states. I will definitely visit every day while I stay in PDX. I got a plain croissant ,a ham-cheese one and a cannele. Inside of the croissant was very airy, moistured and so tender, and the outter shell was perfectly golden brown and crispy. Cannele was also good.
The best country bread, croissants and baguettes in Portland. Every time am in Portland this bakery is part of my itinerary. We even ship the bread back to California when possible!
Great Food in town this place found me by walking by searching Jacobsen Sea Salt. The Bread is excellent an I had great dinner during the blue hour. Place to be....
One of the better croissants I’ve had outside of France. Perfect crunch, airy inside, flaky, and a nice caramelized bottom. Will definitely be coming back to get more.
Yummmmmm and the bakers are so so so nice.... I get our families bread here every week, with no muss or fuss and I'm always kinda impressed by how kind and helpful the folks that work there are oh wait good bread needs love... they bring it!
The baked good are second to none! They also have coffee to takeaway.
Love Trifecta for many reasons: early morning coffee and work hangout, the best bread in town, and dinner that is transcendent (well, at least really really tasty).
Wonderfully hearty, crispy-tender and delicious Walnut Bread gets 5 🌟!
