Very enjoyable meal. The pizza had a nice crust that wasn't at all soggy, and the topping were generous, tasty, and beautifully presented. The wine list is compact, but has some nice options. The green bean appetizer was delicous. What I like about this place is the thought that went into their concept, and who doesn't like their food cooked in a wood burning oven. Even their proteins are cooked on an open fire. I'll be back for sure. One of the best meals I've had in Portland period, and I've eaten at all the top places.
One of the very best meals and restaurant experiences in my life. My son and his fiancee, visiting from Washington,DC.,joined me in total delight.... all of us wowed by the service, the atmosphere, and the incredible food. We are foodies and were blown away. We can't wait to go back. I even felt a bond with everyone in the room, though they were strangers we shared in that time the love of fabulous food in an equally fabulous environment. I'm convinced that you couldn't go wrong with any of the foods, drinks or wine on the menu. The standards are high. Enjoy with great pleasure.
The resturant was actually closed when I went. It was hired out for a workshop.
We had a set menu served family style and a selection of house wines to accompany the dinner.
I believe that one of the attendees got cocktail 🍸 before the event so that is available.
LEGIT pasta and pizza! My husband and I just came back from Italy and tasted pasta and pizza from all over the country. Renata’s food is as good as the one we had in Italy. I didn’t have a chance to try their meats so I’m definitely coming back for that, but I can say that the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the pizza was authentic and very similar to the ones in Rome. I’m glad I found this place in Portland and I truly recommend it.
Lovely Italian place that serves fantastic pizza, pastas and more. They’re open during the pandemic with instructions on how to reheat whatever you order perfectly! We were supposed to have our rehearsal dinner here, but sadly that’s been postponed. As a result we’ve ordered from Renata twice this week, and their food always makes everything better!
I decided to go here for the Portland dining month experience and it was pleasant. I enjoyed all the courses and could definitely see myself coming back on a different day for some wine and their salumi. Their 3 course meal didn't include a dessert which I prefer. I recommend the salumi and pickled vegetables first, the Reginette with braised pork for the second course. Both the third courses, which I would say is basically the main course, were good so you can't go wrong with either choices, note that I found the chicken dish to have a little bit of a spicy kick to it.
Absolutely delicious! Best food we had during our week long trip to Portland.
Interesting cocktails, wonderful service, perfectly cooked pasta!! Could not have asked for a better experience:)
Absolutely loved this place. We had a private dinner there and, I can't even explain how great it was.
Excellent food! The upside down rhubarb cake with ginger ice cream is delicious!
Awesome food, and one of the best covid take-out date night experiences we've had. Excited for patio season...
This place was amazing! We had reservations at 9 in which I felt bad since that was the last seating. Our waitress quickly assured me there was no rush at all. It put my mind at ease so I could enjoy the experience. The food was delicious! We had the Portland Dining Month menu plus the scallops. Everything was so good but the Scallops were my favorite. Cooked perfectly and so tasty. This place was completely worth it and I can't wait to go back!
Renata is my favorite happy hour spot. Renata has a friendly and lively atmosphere with excellent food, delicious cocktails, and a nice outdoor space.
