I was omw home on the streetcar from the SW when the doors opened, I looked up and saw this spot so I had to stop for a slice. I went in with no expectations but to just grab a slice since it was a late lunch. It was empty but probably b/c of the day and time but bonus, no line. I was happy to hear Bouncing Souls playing over the speakers and I was pleasantly surprised with what I was presented for slices. The slices were big and looked tasty. The slices of pepperoni were like 3x a normal pepp slice. They were all covered in toppings. I ordered two different slices b/c I couldn't decide between the two. One was sausage, caramelized onions & shiitake mushroom. The other had artichoke hearts, tomatoes, I think feta. They were both delicious. Then I learned I got a beer included as long as it was a draft! This place just kept getting better. And they had like 6 beers on tap including a delicious 10 Barrel hazy IPA!

I was working on the PSU campus and looking for a lunch place and found Pizzicato. I had two slices of pepperoni and a soda and I was happy with my choice. Thin crust, plenty of mozzarella and the pepperoni was spicy but goooood!

Clearly quality ingredients with well composed flavor profiles. I had the seasonal pizza, with capicola, ricotta, roasted garlic, red peppers and calabrian chile honey, as well as a slice of the pepperoni. While I personally could have done with a bit more capicola on the seasonal, the flavors worked incredibly well together. The crust was thin, hand tossed and had surprisingly good micro blistering on the bottom for it not being a wood fired pizza oven. In addition to the quality of the food itself, the price was very reasonable for the quantity, two slices and a drink came in just over $10. I would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Chain gourmet pizza place on the PSU campus. They serve by the slice. Always has a nice selection of draft beer. Like the late afternoon special: slice and a pint for $8.95.

If you are looking for a good pizza, Pizzicato is the perfect place. Their place is also big enough to cater big groups. Aside from their good pizzas, they have a good selection of specialties and its all taste good as well. If you are an specialty food lover, you can never get bored in here. They have a lot to offer. A friendly tip, try their own and paired it with Spinach Salad to balance the meal.

Good thin crust pizza with slices and whole pies. They go a little gourmet with them and it makes for interesting and tasty combos. My favorite though are the salads, great salads and they are huge. Everything is fresh and staff is nice. The whole pies can get a little expensive but it's worth it. Slices range from $3 - $4 and they are good size.

From my first to my most recent visit, the staff, atmosphere, service, and most importantly, the product have been STELLAR!! The quality and freshness of every pizza and each topping has a consistency of excellence; the salads are exquisite, and the daily happy hour "Beer Pint and Slice", or "Glass of Wine and Slice" is a good value. I like the prices, considering that I'm confident in what I'm eating, and the satisfaction of every bite and sip! The music is always one of my favorite things about being there, and generally, the volume is set at a good level for keeping conversations personal, without having to shout, even when it gets very busy. The music is sometimes alternative, progressive, and folk/blues mix, plus more, which is adventurous and up-beat, or otherwise, playful to contemplative... often leading me to new interests in musical variety. The "crew", whom I won't mention by name, for privacy/respect, are especially awesome bunch of individually awesome people, whose commitment to "top-notch" food product and service is just remarkable, and the hospitality/friendliness of everyone is a very important reason why I have made this my one and only Pizza stop.... Thanks for making it so, you guys REALLY ROCK!!! Heavy Volume output, with grace under pressure... I'll miss the former Manager, and the current Manager is a great asset, clearly. Thanks Pizzicato, for making it all happen. I'll vote you number one, anytime!! ~Jimmy

A great little pizza spot. Kinda expensive, but good nonetheless! Located at the PSU Urban center, it's close to work, and has a decent area to sit and eat. Very laid back atmosphere!

Sort of a gourmet pizza establishment. Ordered Eric's Thai pizza and was pleasantly surprised. Crust is hand tossed baked in corn meal covered oven, texture is a bit chewy with small puffs of air, flavor is slightly fermented. Eric's Thai comes with the spicy peanut sauce that I was hoping to be subdued... Sadly it delivered on the spice! Not much vegan options even with the offering of special cheese (I've met absolutely no one who wants to eat a fake vegan all cheese pizza). Got a small of this pizza to go in about 20mins. This location is clean and had quick ordering service at 6pm on a weeknight.

The pizza is tasty (nice thin crust) and the Portobello panini is incredibly delicious. Just be careful to avoid the crowd of St Mary's students that flood in at noon during the week when school is in session. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
