I enjoy the lack of pretense in this neighborhood pub. I also enjoy watching the football games on a Sunday afternoon. They serve solid dependable food. Today I enjoyed the Club Sandwich.
Cool place that is kind of unexpected for its locale. As you pull up, the lighting kind of reminds you of Pike Place Market.
Food is above average for a pub.
Beer is local... and cold....
Outdoor area is nice, but somewhat close to a main drag.
Good fries & onion rings & other goodies, but other than that the food is just OK. Great place to have some decent beer & play shuffleboard though!
Love love love this place! Great happy hour menu

Thanks to your great team I always feel welcome - remembered and respected. That's important in a small community. Try the gyros wrapped in lettuce as a low carb option. These guys will do anything to make your experience a good one. Plus our dogs can dominate the patio only like westies can.
Keeps Wishing.... I have been to this restaurant a few times trying different dishes and have walked away disappointed each time. This really disheartens me because I really want to like this place. Unfortunately the food is real bland and I struggle to find a dish worth coming back for.
The beers on the other hand are great and I highly suggest ordering the sampler if you like trying different beers. It is not a bad place if you want to shoot pool, watch a game, and drink beer...and I must admit the spicy chicken strips do go good with beer. The wooden chairs do get a bit uncomfortable after a few hours but nothing a couple of beers can't handle.
I wish this site had a "Just ok" option because I would have chosen that instead. I should add that I haven't tried their burgers or pizza yet so maybe one of those items will change my mind.
Had never been here before. Met a some friends (8 total) to watch college football on a Saturday afternoon. Had great food and amazing service. Jeremy is awesome. Very attentive and d Johnny on the spot with his service. Great burgers, tater tots, fries and chicken tenders. Even played a little shuffleboard while we were there. Had a blast. Definitely will go back.
It's been a while since I've been back to this place. The place is fairly large with plenty of room for larger parties and has that open feel to it. The service started out slow as the server wasn't aware that she was assigned to us, but once she knew, she was pretty quick and efficient at getting our orders and food out to us. I had the Hot Chicago style wet dip with au jus. The sandwich was decent, and the au jus definitely made it better. I enjoyed the battered fries. My niece enjoyed her cheese breadsticks a lot, so it's a good thing 😋
Rustic, hearty, large-portioned meals; stiff drinks; tasty, adventurous beers brewed on-site; pool, shuffleboard and slot machines, and vidya games for the littles (yep, this place is family friendly!), all under one roof, and wrapped in an upscale truck stop diner/sports bar aesthetic.
The Old Market Pub & Brewery seems like a great place for a casual breakfast, lunch, brunch, or dinner with family and/or friends. It's both relaxed and a little rowdy; the kind of place where the rugrats can run around being noisy and rambunctious without causing too much of a stir. The food is robust and unpretentious, and will definitely leave you feeling full, or taking home leftovers: the delicious meatball sub I ordered filled the role of two and a half meals! Similarly, my wife was in dire straits attempting to tackle Andy's BIG Buttermilk Biscuits and Gravy, with a side of bacon. If nothing else, you get your money's worth here!
Unsure of what beverage to accompany your meal? Not surprising; the list of brews is mighty, so ask for a sample before committing. The Hot Tamale is something else, with a spice that goes right up your nose! I should have ordered that, but as it was brunch time, I went with a Bloody Mary, which was...serviceable, but not particularly exciting. The Black Magic Stout, which my wife sampled, was so good, it could function as a dessert by itself, with its chocolate and coffee aromas and flavors. Very recommended!
The service was a bit of a mixed bag: things started strong - friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive; by the end, we found ourselves asking "Where the hell is our server?" It took longer to get a to-go box and the check than it did to order and have our entrées delivered to our table. Thankfully we weren't in a hurry.
Service snafu aside (which I imagine is an isolated incident), and despite the fact that it's a little out of the way for us, the Old Market Pub & Brewery's rustic charm and lively, welcoming environment left a solid enough impression on the both of us to warrant a return in the future. In short, ditch the Denny's and skip the Shari's: the real meal deal is here!
We had an enjoyable meal here with our toddler. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a bowl of Chilli, potatoe tots and the cod / fish tacos, all in all the food was quiet tasty. The Chilli was a little more liquidy than we were used to but that may simply be the style here, and it was still quite yum. The staff provided colors and paper for our toddler which was useful, and the outside seating that we took was very pleasant. Overall a nice experience in a nice neighborhood.
Update 6/12/23 - Hit up again on a bike ride. Just a great place to stop in and grab a snack and beer...and of course water mid ride. Sat outside and it was beautiful. Service was great but getting our check to pay and leave took longer than expected as our server got very busy.

Always a great stop. Did a beer and canjun fries break half way through our 22 mile bike ride.

Great food (garlic fries are amazing), beer, and service. Cherry on top was buying a pumpkin with all proceeds going to the Oregon Dog Rescue. Overall, great experience and will be back!
Solid pub food and they have nice selection of house beers. The onion rings are our favorite in town. The patio is cozy rain or shine and is very dog friendly. This is a great casual neighborhood spot.
Welcoming, relaxed, good service, good food. We will be back!
The food was great! I had the meatball sub and would recommend it to anyone with a huge appetite! Service was friendly but took quite a while to receive the food. They offer indoor or outdoor seating. Indoor had many sports programs on different tv's if that's what you are into. Outdoor seating recommended if you like a quieter experience. I would like to visit again sometime.
I love coming here and the staff is great, but last night I was VERY disappointed when we showed up just after 5, excited for Happy Hour, only to find out that management had decided to change Happy Hour to 2 to 5. Ughhh that sucks! They also did away with their 2nd Happy Hour that was 9 to close & their drinks specials like Blood Mary Sunday & Tight Wad Tuesday. For all of the local regulars this is very disappointing news!! I really hope that they rethink this decision 🙏😕
