I had the carne adada tacos there today and it was great. I was digging the old school country music. My wife had some cheese fries that were great as well. I'll be back for a burger next time. The chef was really nice.
Full retro dive. Very comfortable. Vibrant but not so loud you have shout. Great place.

Pleasant surprise. Went to Renner's for the first time on a lark. I seriously had the best most authentic Chicago style hotdog I've had in years. It was so much better than Zack shack or even, dare I say, Pinks in LA....
Also, I had a bite of my partner's Gouda Bacon Jalapeno burger. It was cooked perfectly mid rare. We will be returning to Renner's to check out what else the cook dreams up.

Have not been here after the remodel. Great food. There is an off menu. On the off menu, which has a double hamburger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns. Huge beast. The waitresses said it's their most popular to go item. Today I had a salad,,,,,and onion rings.
My favorite bar/ restaurant in Portland! Delicious food, cold beers, and THE best margaritas! Ooh and Spanish coffees in the winter!👌 10 stars! AND it's in cute Multnomah village!

Friendly waitress says, "we have the best burgers in Multnomah County," I ordered the blue-cheese burger, it was the best burger I have had in years. Small local place, very nice staff, excellent food, every bite was delicious. Does not look like much from the outside, but real soul inside, full of local color, easy-going unassuming place, I will be back to try more food items for sure!
Service was outstanding!! The potato salad was perfect even though the skins were left on it was tender. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.
I visited here because they are open late on Sunday nights. It's a quaint venue with a friendly atmosphere. There were lots of people here with a few seats left at the bar with booths and tables available.
The bartender is friendly and loves interacting with the patrons. The patrons are welcoming and feel free to introduce themselves. Many seem to know each other.
The burgers are thick and juicy with several options for toppings. They come with chips but there are other sides available for an upgrade including a cup of clam chowder. On my first visit I ordered a particularly spicy burger. A patron chimed in with "I hope you're hungry." It i a good portion of food but not so much that you'll need to take home the leftovers.
On my second visit I had the clam chowder with my burger. Best decision of the night as it is thick and creamy with large chunks. The burger was great but the clam chowder was fabulous.
I Sure do miss my $2 breakfast at Renner's Bar and Grill. (That was a very long time ago when I was living in Portland 2017 and entire life prior) when prices of Eggs and Bacon didn't cost SO MUCH for them to make!! EXCELLENT SERVICE! All the time! Bingo night, never going to forget that. Tip your Servers and Bartenders well. They Work Hard. I can't go there anymore because I live in Astoria taking people fishing for a living (Just a registered CPR/ First Aid Deckhand). But, I sure do miss that bar. My boyfriend/ boat Captain even met me there for Bingo night once. He very much enjoyed it. All smiles. 5 stars is an Understatement of how much I loved going there.
From a well respected and long founded bar, this place personifies the 80's tradional dive bar without the sticky carpets and nasty smell. You just have to walk in to experience the vibe. If you like it, great! If not, no harm no fowl.
We had some chicken tenders and fries which hit the spot. This a great place to get out of the heat, have a beer, or a mixed drink relax and unwind! Low key, chillaxing and pleasant.
