Love Junior's. My favorite breakfast/brunch place in Portland. Great cocktails, fantastic breakfast food, good coffee, excellent, efficient service, and a nice, cozy atmosphere.
Love this place. Everything I have had has been great and they are very friendly. Trust them and venture outside your comfort zone, them won’t let you down
This place is an amazing little hole in the wall restaurant. The food was amazing. I'm so use to not eating all my food when we go out but here, I ate everything and even stole some food from my husband's plate it just looked and smelled so dang good. My teenager tried out some vegan sausage and loved it. (If you have a kid with sensitives, you get how big of a struggle this is.) And my daughter loved being able to build her own breakfast sandwich. There's so many options, including vegan and gluten free items. Our server Paula was amazing. They checked on everyone often and was on top of everything. And, they didn't rush us or sigh when we asked for things how we needed them, they were understanding and patient which was a huge plus. Can't wait to come back here again. I'm picky about my breakfast but here, there are so many things for me to choose from, I kinda can't be picky here. First place I've had a hard time picking what I wanted for my French toast there was several options. And absolutely LOVE that they have an option for only 1 slice of French toast.
Good Little café. Had the Migas: eggs with chorizo were very tasty, the French toast was a bit dry and did not have enough fruit. The service was very good. Our server Sarah was very attentive, polite and efficient. We had to wait about 30 min to be seated.
Great breakfast. Pancakes were perfectly sweet and tender. Do I dare say some of the best bacon I’ve ever had? French toast was also delicious. It was everything you could have wanted in a breakfast. We sat outside. It was comfortable, and we were attended to very well. The STRAWBERRY LEMONADE was something I will never forget. I wanted 5 of them. A must-try
stopped by Juniors for a breakfast while in Portland. Tried their vegan option the superhero. It was tasty. The service was stellar from the greeting until the end, kudos!
This was my first time here after wishing of going for almost 10 years! The three of us were able to snag a booth with no wait. We were quickly served our drinks and food shortly thereafter.
We had a marvelous breakfast, no pictures were taken before we started in. Then in-a-blink our plates were clean. We got the JJ Benedict, The Squatch, and the special which was a bagel sandwich. All of our sides were great. The fresh fruit bowl was so light and perfect for a 100°+ day.
Worth the wait! Looking forward to coming back soon.
I would say if you've read any reviews for this place, then you read my review as well.
It's definitely a solid four. A bit better than other places, definitely more affordable. Only a few minor detractors. Hollandaise sauce that was too thin, but tasted alright.
I get the feeling from reading other reviews that any negatives have more to do with who is in the kitchen than it does with the actual quality of the food.
It's a cute spot you should try.
The best place for a scramble or French toast, or brunch in general. We have been travelling through Portland for 15 years. We love it here, the whole place I’d transport home with me if I could. Super friendly service, gluten free options for coeliac, unpretentious, such a warm vibe, home style cooking with great north west flavours. Just like a big warm hug to eat here.
There were lots of wasps outside so they gave us a booth inside. The waiter was a soldier, it looked like they only had one server and one chef on duty so it took a little bit of time but they were very attentive. The scrambles we got were amazing and I loved my mimosa.
Such an authentic old Portland neighborhood spot. Classy, cozy bright interior with booths. Lovely vintage light fixtures. Slightly exposed kitchen. Family owned. The daughter of the owner served us.
We had Florentine Benny, monte Cristos and coffee. It was delicious. Perfectly poached eggs, crispy hashbrowns...
Yum! They even let us try 3 new hot sauces they were thinking about offering on all tables. The sauces were just the icing on the cake. We will be back!!!
Hashed browns and crispy bacon - yum
Couldn't get anyone's attention to get butter and jelly for toast, so finally just used someone else's in our party. The jelly was delicious! Not as impressed with the homemade applesauce. Would have preferred less smooth. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their meals.
