This charming little eatery is excellent! We found it spur of the moment before we hit to road back to Idaho. I love the fact that the food at this restaurant is made by two ladies crafting thoughtful, homemade dishes slowly and with so much care 💕 The self serve locally roasted coffee station served in vintage tea cups was a darling touch. The place was white and bright and filled with light 🌞 It was such a cheery experience to dine here! We loved the homemade biscuits, the tiny dish of jam, the spicy Bloody Mary, the perfectly cooked eggs. I'll surely be back and I've already recommended this place to many friends.
Vivienne's is such a light filled welcoming space. The seasonal flavors are fantastic (rhubarb mimosas! Fruited breakfast bread puddings with rosemary cream!) The lovely old China tea cups and flowers on the table are a delight. This is a great spot to meet a friend.
We loved everything about our experience. The quality and price. The decor and friendly service. The perfect place for a slow breakfast to enjoy a conversation over quality coffee. Will be back many times over. Very happy to have discovered this place so close to home.
Wonderful shop full of great culinary cookbooks. She also has pastries and wine to enjoy at the secret bar and cooking classes she teaches from the books she sells too and more! I've attended 3 or 4 of the classes and each was informative and wonderful.
Bright and cozy spot with the smoothest, tastiest coffee served in little tea cups. The pastries are delightful; we had a lavender chocolate chip cookie today. And definitely stay for brunch or lunch also. The breakfast special of griddled bread pudding was delightful with peach jam and rosemary butter on top served with two eggs and bacon. And my partner got the breakfast sandwich and was equally impressed. We'll definitely be back.
A real gem. I ordered the special chickpea stew with a baked egg which comes with toast with an amazing herb butter melted on top. I also ordered a biscuit (so good) which came with jam & more herb butter on the side. Initially the stew felt like a small portion but I left incredibly full. Good coffee and a great drink menu which includes cocktails. Service was great, they were busy but made the time to acknowledge me the moment I stepped in. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.
Incredible selection of cookbooks, and a unique set up where you can sit down, sip some wine and try whatever delicacy is made that day. They also have really cool events dedicated to cook books! Highly recommend checking them out!
The special egg sandwich was absolutely incredible. Possibly the best sandwich I've ever had.
The single most magical cookbook store and secret wine bar in Portland! So glad we have such a sweet local spot!
Sweet cafe in the Hollywood district with yummy breakfast and lunch offerings (sandwiches, salads, soups and more), as well as coffee, tea, pastries. Cute space and great customer service.
precious little brunch place; cute tea cups they let you choose from, portion’s a bit small, but food is pretty good
It can be busy with slow service but the food, drink and kindness of the staff will win you over.
