Great atmosphere, fantastic drinks and friendly bar tenders...no...mixologists made this a great time! We had an off menu drink called an "extra fancy" and it was extra delicious! Champagne and sorbet with something else tasty. We sadly only had appetizers but they were delicious and the rest of the menu looked great. Highly recommend this place!

It's rather expensive, but worth it to treat yourself. The bartenders are classy, the drinks are pricey but well done, and it has a very cozy atmosphere with rich, warm wood accents, sculptural upholstered furnishings, and a fireplace. The food from the restaurant is amazing, and the volume level is perfect for having conversations with your neighboring bar-goers. I will definitely return.

Despite being quite busy during lunch rush hour, we were seated pretty quickly, and our waitress was quite pleasant and attentive. Service was speedy. The food was spectacular. The farm salad was good, perhaps nothing to write home about, but the shepherd's pie was phenomenal. I'm inspired to try to make it myself now!

A great place for a date as the meal comes out in good pace to savor flavors and allows for conversation about things other than ther food in front of you. Atmosphere is very calming when you sit away from the bustling kitchen. Decor shows tight constraint to modern Portland style. Fresh ingredients dominate the menu with greens that have bite and proteins that are tender and properly seasoned. Highly recommend their beet salad and muted desserts that are not too sweet.

Came here again for our anniversary. The rabbit and venison are excellent, but the rabbit was the best of the two. The frisee salad was good but expensive. My wife said the oysters were fresh and tasty, she also loved the debutante (drink). The Shirley Temple had a good strong cherry taste. Will definitely come back! Went here several months ago for a work outing. It's rare that I'm haunted by a dish, but the west cork rabbit was so phenomenal I still think about it regularly. Atmosphere here is great, old English feel and staff are friendly. Will be back!

We came on a Saturday at 940pm. It was pretty crowded but luckily there was a small table open for us. A jazz band was playing very nice music. The building itself was really beautiful, it was a carriage house that belonged to the Ladd family. We ordered happy hour beers, fish and chips and the wellington thingy. Fish and chips was just ok. We really liked the wellington thing. Super tasty. I would like to try the dinner downstairs next time.

The atmosphere is welcoming and astonishing. Beware there is brandy with a whole pear inside and the wait staff will try and explain how the pear got inside the bottle. The food is amazing and super tasty. It is worth journeying out and eating here. Enjoy.

Excellent food and drinks and amazing service. His drink suggestion made my girlfriend question whether or not he was able to read my mind. It was exactly what I was in the mood for! Came for Valentine's Day dinner too. It was great.

One of the underrated places in Portland, I tried only their cocktails and each one mesmerized me.. The penicillin and peach swing were my favorite.. They did not just try to mix sugar syrup in their cocktails, but they were able to blend in the various flavors with the base spirit pretty well. The ambience was very lively and the place had an upscale vibe yet the drinks were economical.. the bartenders were very nice and friendly! It wasn’t very crowded, a god place to hang out with friends or even go with your date!

The food was bomb and the drinks were both authentic and delicious. They're also one the few places that does the fish in "fish n' chips" justice. Live music was also a plus. Not too loud to talk over without trying too hard.

Went there for Valentines, they had a 5 course menu, small portions, but oh boy were they delicious!!! 1000 stars. Planning to come back for a regular menu.

Great happy-hour crowd at the bar upstairs which also has a pool table. Gets lively but also chill. The bartenders, Zach was taking care of my libation needs, was attentive even when it got busy. The happy-hour menu is a nice twist from the traditional bar food. The shepherds pie is rich and full of flavor. Then save some room for dessert and have the eaton mess, the panna cotta is silk smooth.
