This is a delightful, small shop on the river. Incredibly kind and gracious owners and baristas. Interesting clientele. Unusual and exciting menu. Locally roasted, responsibly sourced coffee. AND EXCELLENT TEA CHOICES- both what is available and the way it is prepared. Minimal but adequate indoor seating. Nice outdoor seating options- and even blankets provided for cooler days! I’ll be back!

Wow, what a find. I didn’t know places like this were in Portland. It’s like old Portland, but way more chill. No throw away cups (bring your own if you have one). Everything is plant based and made from scratch. Remineralized water used in all drinks. I had a latte with fresh pumpkin seed & raw hazelnut milk, a bit of date and pinch of salt and living water. OMG. It was perfect!

This place is so good it don't make sense. How is this plants!!!! He made me an mint chocolate milkshake that I devoured in seconds. BYOC cause his cups are so cute but they don't have paper cups.

Wow, what a great coffee experience. The BEST cappuccino I have ever had. He makes his own plant based milks… awesome. Your only regret will be not coming here.

Hang on! NOT A STANDARD CAFE! So, wholly plant based. Greeeat coffee! My experience was, a sampling of house made plant-based milks (spirulina cashew milk, a horchata with Lions Mane etc). Plan to sit and sip. This is a patient process. All in all, I got in, had a sampling of the house made milks, and got a great Horchata Lions Mane latte that was toothsome, and delicious. All in all, FULLY recommend this place for small group of 1-3. There’s a communal city restroom just behind the storefront. Fully recommend this, but don’t expect this to be like a 40# or a Starbucks etc

You can see that the owner is very enthusiastic in making coffee, he has his unique milk, which is really delicious. But honestly with coffee it gets weird. I don't really like the taste. But the atmosphere of the boss is very good, he customizes the taste you like, he chats with you, and he uses his enthusiasm in making coffee. He can satisfy the needs to make you a cup of coffee you want. I would like to recommend this coffee shop for this reason.

This is a great little coffee shop. It is conveniently located near the waterfront boardwalk. They have many choices of coffee and tea. The staff are very friendly. They even have dairy-free options (almond, sit and coconut milk) for the latte style drinks. I definitely recommend this place!!

A wonderful place to go to be by yourself or with a very small group. I came here to meet up with a friend and it did not disappoint. It is well out of the city hussle and it is great. You can take a coffee to go and hangout by the bank of the river. This will quickly turn into my favorite place. I ordered a Mexican Mocha and it was excellent. I love the story of this place and love helping this small company progress.

Today something so ordinary as a matcha latte was a moving experience. The texture and flavour were so dialled in, you take the first sip, and it makes you close your eyes. And it felt so healthy in the body. Not only were the nut milks organic and made in-house, but even the kind of water used was thoughtfully selected. You could feel the love in the preparation. This was my first visit to Pájaro, and my day feels like a success simply because I was fortunate enough to find this spot.

If you haven't been here, you should definitely go. This experience was so different from literally any experience I've had in terms of cafes. First of all, customer service was wonderful. Secondly, the owner has an obvious passion for his work. Small indoor setting with an outdoor garden-like area to walk around or sit. When ordering, I recommend letting the owner walk you through his selections and explain his processes, because it's pretty awesome, and I feel like this component really made our time there so much better.

Kiosko Coffee is a small open air coffee and pastry shop located just off of the riverwalk. The owner Angel roasts their coffee to perfection. He hones his skills competing in brewing competitions. The coffee and service are outstanding. They also offer a nice selection of pastries from The Bake Shop, owned by James Beard award winner and author Kim Boyce. The shop is quaint and friendly and offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is open 7 days a week.
